Textbook
Seeking to learn more about our food economy and food justice as it pertains to gender, skin color and socioeconomic position, I purchased this book for myself as a birthday gift. I'm very glad that I did. The articles have shed light on areas I had not considered, and provide for the most part well researched information. A few typos here and there.Food production and the politics thereof will continue to grow as an academic field as we approach global environmental changes that force our collective hand. These discussions will continue to be important as we move forward

Great Anthology of Food
This anthology is a must for anyone interested in the sociology of food! It explores various aspects of the production, distribution, and consumption of food and how they intersect with issues of class, race, gender, sexual orientation, and more. The articles range in both length and depth, but all of them are interesting!
