This book has some great suggestions on how to finish what you start
This book has some great suggestions on how to finish what you start. I like how Peter Hollins describes the problem of procrastination. He then gives you suggested ways of getting around it. I have applied most of the principals. This has caused my output to be much more productive then it used to be. I feel like I am getting something done. In addition, the suggestions have caused me to keep a log of my progress which has been steady in a positive direction. I would highly recommend the book to those seeking to improve their productivity.

Concise and sound advice, there's a lot to learn from this guy!
First, kudos on the format of each chapter; I found it easier to remember what I had read by simply reading the chapter completely. Each topic is introduced, then expanded, and finally Mr. Collins provides his readers with a list of important notions in each chapter - one bullet at a time; I really liked this since I got into the habit of reading chapters during different times of the day and then around bedtime I would read the bullet section as a quick reminder of what I should have learned. I would recommend to the author that he should add a small section after his explanation of taking the necessary time to recuperate mentally to explain the difference between such activities and procrastination. As he mentions procrastination is never completely eliminated, I think that it's important to not let something like meditation become something used to procrastinate. For instance, I like to take little breaks to watch an episode from an old TV show like Seinfeld, because I find that the distraction and the no pressure activity helps me find solutions to problems rather than worrying about them to no end; however, sometimes I just continue watching three or four episodes when it was actually time to move on to something else. I'm working on it! Thank you for writing this book! Cheers!

Great!
Well written. Clear, concise and actionable. It lists a number of things that hold us back from success and gives us ways to overcome them. Chapters are well laid out and are finished off with a great summary.

Not a good read
This book is poorly written. It's as if he graduated college and quickly wrote a book while some of the anecdotes were fresh in his head. I got to page 34 and stopped reading. The irony...

A System That Works
I enjoyed Peter Hollins book on finishing what you start because it offered a foolproof plan to reduce distractions and limit many obstacles that destroy your chances of success when creating goals that willpower alone often fails you. The book was direct and to the point without a lot of fluff sometimes found in self-help and motivational books. It will be a very worthwhile investment in yourself and completing what you have started.

Some great points
I liked the book, it's a quick read and has some good actionable advice. The only downside i see is that much of it is quite easier said than done. If you already have a strong drive and dedication to action and change, this sets a great groundwork for success. However, if you are feeling completely lost im afraid that some of the advice will leave you feeling a bit helpless getting over the hump. All in all... Worth the read. Thanks!

Selbst fรผr Produktivitรคts-Profis lohnend
+ unerwรผnschte Gewohnheiten teuer machen und wรผnschenswerte Gewohnheiten lohnend machen.

Great book for it's value
I got it on Kindle and it's definitely worth it, probably even on the flexible cover version will be a great value for money. It touches many points and it gives practical examples of how to apply them (it doesn't go too deep into the details but it's good enough to get your started). I would recommend this to anyone who's struggling on getting things done and want to have a book to come back to whenever needed

Good read
It's a useful book with practical advice. Read it on two times. The first I paused after chapter 1 for a couple of months. The second time was during a time of habit change and it helped me follow through so far. Feel like reading it again or atleast using the summary as a constant reminder. Recommended

Practical
The book is more of a manual I'd say as it is very practical, easy to read and understand thanks to the examples and comes with the summary included. Almost like 'Finish what you start for dummies!' ;)
