I can't find this anywhere. Has it been completely discontinued? If so, what's the closest thing to it?

Upon further investigation, I went to their website. Actually there were 2. One said discontinued, but the other said temporarily out of stock. It not to worry, it will return. So there is hope.

Will this spray upside down, like when I need to put it on my back? Other pumps don't, and this is important to me.

It will most likely not work. The pump is a plastic straw-like mechanism. Therefore, inverted, it will not be taking in the fluid
