Works for citric acid powder for the rinse cycle
I was on r/laundry on Reddit, and decided to try citric acid powder as a rinse aid to neutralize the ph of my laundry detergent. Getting it into the rinse cycle was the problem. However, adding it to a downy ball, with water at extra high, and it just works. I don't know how it works, but it opens in the rinse cycle of my top loader, and just works. perfect.
