Excellent. Tasty. A moist and chewy but not hard texture. Just like I like it. A healthy alternative to other snacks. Although it is expensive.

It has just been recently that I discovered Yammies. First of all, I loved the name. My 'Inner Child', was delighted. But then, I opened the package, reached in and drew out a treasure. These lovely orange strips are just the right size and have just the right texture. And the flavor...oh... I think they should call them YUMMIES! ...absolutely delicious. These people honor the noble yam in the most loving way. I, for one am a fan forever and the minute I find myself down to the last package, I am at the computer ordering more! I would absolutely recommend these delicious, lovely orange Yammies. I even love them with my coffee in the morning! And of course I am reaching for them later in the day as well. Give yourselves a treat and try Yammies. You deserve it!

I have been looking for a crunchier product but I’m glad I found Yammy. It’s the perfect snack- low calorie, great taste, quality, filling, simple ingredients and fiber :) I bought a 5-pack and shared with my family and they liked it too! Will definitely buy more! Really loved the mangoes and sweet potatoes, and also enjoyed that they were all different textures. The mangoes are freeze dried, so more like chips, while the sweet potatoes were chewy and a little sticky. I thought I wouldn’t like them at first because it wasn’t what I was expecting, but now I find myself craving them. Healthy, filing, and perfectly portioned — the ultimate snack! I also love that they’re individually packaged. The only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn’t like the dragonfruit chips. I like dragonfruit normally, but these tasted nutty. I was one of 5 people that tried them — 3 of us thought they tasted weird/not like dragonfruit, and 2 of us really liked them, so just a matter of opinion I guess. Restocking on the other two though!

These are amazing! Soft, chewy, naturally sweet! They even came with a cute note and the cutest yam clip! So thoughtful!! The texture is magnificent and the little pouches make them perfect for on the go snacks.

Update....unfortunately after eating a few more bags, the quality is very inconsistent. Some bags have been delicious while other bags have been awful. I actually just had a bag that had some good pieces and some bad in the same bag. I will try an finish what I already have and continue my search.Arrived quickly and product was exactly what I was looking for. I had recently been getting a different brand from Costco and they were out of stock the last two weeks, so I ordered these. These were just as good if not better than the brand I was getting from Costco, they are slightly more expensive but worth it! And there was a nice note from the owners in the box! I love being able to support a small business!

These are tasty and have a nice chewiness to them with a little goo-like texture too…a little sticky too. Not a freeze dried crunchy texture. I ordered these because a while back a friend of mine brought me back some snacks from Japan to try and the snack I was so drawn to was the sweet potato snacks…my daughter (4 at the time) loved them too! Since I can’t find them here in America I ordered these hoping they would taste the same. In full transparency, they don’t taste exactly like the Japanese ones. The Japanese ones probably used Japanese sweet potatoes which are naturally sweeter and the couple of packs I tried were also chewy/ a little gooey, but none of the strips were slightly drier. I do very much enjoy these and I will continue to buy them, but I did have to get use to these because some of the strips are slightly drier in comparison to the ones from Japan. That isn’t to say the Yammy ones are “dry” but if you’re like me and looking for a Japanese sweet potato snack equivalent it is worth noting. I am glad I found these because they are an excellent snack or whenever I want a little something sweet, but don’t want junk food. My daughter (now 6) doesn’t like these because she can taste the difference and she didn’t want to “get used to them.” I’ll continue to purchase these since I do like them and I don’t have access to the Japanese ones.
