Tiny amp, big upgrade (TV finally sounds like a TV should
Honestly one of my favorite purchases this year. This thing is small—like “where did it go?” small—but it has zero issue driving a pair of bookshelf speakers. I’ve got it hooked up to the bedroom TV through the aux output, so no remote juggling or Bluetooth reconnect nonsense—it just turns on with the TV and works. That alone made it feel way more “built-in” than I expected. Sound quality is a huge step up. Dialogue is clear, everything has more depth, and it actually feels like a real audio setup instead of thin TV speakers. Simple, clean, and way more powerful than it looks. Easy win if you’ve got speakers sitting around.

This is an excellent product
TL;DR: This works exactly as it should. Great piece of equipment is such a tiny form factor I've been meaning to setup a more permanent outdoor speaker solution to my backyard and was going to go with the old fashioned "run 200 feet of speaker cable" because the high receiver I bought was pretty far away and I was going to use Zone 2 for the speakers. But this little package came up on my searches and it was exactly what I wanted and more. There is an area in the backyard that we set up outdoor movies at and I use a portable speaker for sound. Instead it dawned on me that not only can i stream music from any source with this bluetooth connection to this device, I can also double up and use it for outdoor movies if I place them correctly. Well I found an outdoor telephone jack and indoor jack and I was able to run audio cable outside through those openings which were right next to where I would put the movie screen. So I was able to put two outdoor speakers in a place so that it can provide sound for movies AND they are in a general area that I can stream/play music for the backyard in general. No need to wire anything from the receiver and eliminates the need to bring out a boombox outdoor speaker for movies. What I was really happy about is how fast and solid the bluetooth connection is. I use an old laptop for streaming music and store all my ripped CDs. I thought I was going to have to hardwire the laptop to this Fosi amp because the laptop is like six years old. After a little work and trial and error, I finally figured it out and it works. The first time the laptop had a hard time finding it but now that it is in the list of known devices, it connects flawlessly. I tried iphones, tables, etc. and all of the newer devices find it with no problems. Even my echo show found it and its about 40 feet away in another room. Movies sound great, have my Lounge music running at night and I'm so happy about this setup. And, going back to my resistance to running cable, I only need 30 feet of outdoor cable for both speakers so it was convenience too. Highly recommend this product: very inexpensive, does exactly what it is supposed to and greatly enhances the flexibility of what you can do.

great little amp. does the job nicely
i got this to replace the final stage on the sony amp that blew it's left side. the sony still works as a preamp and switcher for the turntable, tv and music streamer i have so i didn't have to redo a lot of wiring. all i had to do was run a line from the tape-out on the amp and move the speaker wires to this little guy. all my controls and remotes stayed the same. nice bonus is i now also have bluetooth. it's not as powerful as my original amp and you can't drive it as hard; ive a feeling if you do, something will blow as the components are rather small. it happened on another, similarly built amp. the sound quality is adequate, esp in this age of earbuds. my wife doesn't notice but i can definately tell there is a midrange bias, even with the tone controls. still, it's good for it's size. one thing i really like is the bluetooth addition. the sound quality is good and there is very little spurious noise. it is a preferential connection so it will override anything coming in from the AUX inputs. i wish there was a button to switch but as is, just turning off the bluetooth on your phone will cause it to automatically switch back. overall, it's a good little unit. i wish it were closer to a $60 price point but build quality seems good and sound quality overall is great for this little guy. i'll probably buy another one to use as a portable outdoor entertainment like another reviewer did.

Surprisingly effective, breathes new life into silent speakers
I don't write reviews anymore lately but I've had a good experience with the Fosi BT20A that I feel is worth sharing. I purchased the BT20A because I had a long-silent pair of Signet SL-260 speakers from over a decade ago that were great budget audiophile speakers but had sat unused. I just didn't have any more 2-channel or AV systems in the house that needed a set of speakers. So I figured that I'd bring them fully into the future-present by integrating them into my Alexa ecosystem. This consists of quite a few Echo Dots situated around the house, including my office. I had been using a twinkie-sized BT speaker with the Dot in my office and you can imagine that the sound quality was unimpressive to say the least. Based on research, the BT20A seemed exactly what I needed, a reasonably powerful Bluetooth enabled device that could directly drive unpowered speakers with a quality signal at reasonable levels of volume. As for this goal, the BT20A met my needs exactly and fully. Now I can stream my Amazon Music Unlimited playlists from the office Dot to the BT20A which drives the SL-260 speakers directly. Now I can listen to my music at high quality. Very satisfying. I should note one quirk of the system. The BT20A was able to quickly be detected and linked using my iPhone 12 Pro, but initially I could not get the Alexa app or the Echo Dot directly to find the BT20A. Internet and forum searches here were fruitless. Finally, I tried something unusual. Thinking that maybe for whatever reason the Echo Dot's search wasn't triggering the BT linking capability of the BT20A, i tried it again at the same time as I put another BT speaker into linkup mode. Immediately, the Alexa app showed that my Echo Dot now saw the BT speaker AND the Fosi. From there I selected the Fosi and from that point on, the Dot and BT20A could find each other any time I wanted to use the system. Odd but works. Fosi support actually responded within 10 hrs of my help request and were pleasant but I solved this one on my own. Never would I have imagined that there was such a device as this, but now that I've found it, I can bring high quality sound anywhere around the house I want without having to move stereo components or settle for typical BT portable speakers. And at a cost that's actually an amazing value. I love it! I have included a picture of my super little system. Super happy overall with the sound for dollar punch these little components.

Solid little unit.
I got this to run some higher end home audio speakers installed outside for the yard/pool area at our house. The speakers are $300 each and I had been running it on an older Sony coil-based home theater amp because I thought I needed the zones and independent volume controls/management for tone/eq. The amp in the cabinet indoors was putting out quite a bit of heat when it was powered on whether they were in use or not. The wiring was a total mess and I bluntly didn't enjoy dealing with it. I went in to this project assuming I was going to get a Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, or some home audio mixer board + eq, or something fancy with roughly $2k budget... I was on struggle street trying to piece it all together. I only need a simple input amp. I have a cheap class T amp in my garage that works for what I am doing there, but the audio quality is trash. I rolled the dice and picked up a few of these and man, they blew my mind. They have a lot of punch/power and the audio quality is REALLY surprising compared to the old stuff I had. The BT connection is ROCK SOLID. A lot of these cheap china BT interfaces are trash and buggy. This thing pairs right up and is solid and reliable. I'm waiting on the splitters to feed the source to all of them, but per zone, they're superb. Super straightforward install and good labeling, pair with FosiXXX and go for BT. It's a small, light package and the box it comes in is pretty good for it's weight and has some heft. Not sure whether the weight is from the case or components, but it's a mosfet so we'll see about heat dissipation down the road and whether it does a thermal cutoff or not. I might end up getting more for the garage after a few sessions in the backyard. I was pleasantly surprised!

Nice little amp
Easy to set up, but recommend you use standard 4mm banana plugs to connect your speakers (those little knobs in the back are not the easiest to tighten). Easily powers my Polk outdoor speakers, and they sound great even without a subwoofer.

Plenty of power for its size.
The Fosi Audio BT20A Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier has been a great little amp for a compact setup. I’m using it in a small turntable system, driving a pair of 3.5-inch bookshelf speakers, and it’s been more than capable. Power is plenty for a smaller room, and it sounds clean and enjoyable without feeling strained. The bass and treble controls are simple but effective, giving just enough adjustment to dial in the sound without overcomplicating things. The Bluetooth feature is a nice bonus and works well for streaming music from my phone when I don’t feel like spinning records. One of the biggest advantages is the size. It’s small, simple and clean looking, lightweight, and easy to tuck away, which makes it perfect for minimal or space-limited setups. It doesn’t try to be fancy, but it does exactly what it should. For the price, this is a very solid value. If you need an affordable, compact amp for a small speaker setup, this is an easy recommendation.

Excellent Little Amp — Powers Outdoor Speakers with Ease
Works perfectly! I used this to fire up a pair of outdoor speakers that came with our house, and it’s been flawless. Super easy to connect via Bluetooth, and the sound quality is great — clear, strong, and consistent. I’ve left it on pretty much all the time, and it’s been running solid for about 8 months with no issues at all. For the price, this little amp delivers big performance. Highly recommend.

Great little amp
I had the non-Bluetooth version which unfortunately died a death during a house move. Loved the simplicity of the design so much I went for the bluetooth version. Fantastic, no issues whatsoever, easy setup, great sound quality and fantastic range on the bluetooth. I can go upstairs in our old victorian terrace with my phone and not interrupt the music playing downstairs.

Works Good
I have been using this amplifier for a month now. It is working without any issues. The build quality of the amp as well as the adapter is very good. Looks tiny besides my old amp. My Old amp stopped working so am using this amplifier as an temporary alternative to power a set of Solidaire SS100 bookshelf speakers with a 12-inch woofer, a 4-inch midrange, and a 1-inch horn tweeter with impedance of 8 Ohms. Bluetooth range is also good. Comparable to my existing Logitech Bluetooth adapters. I have noticed it does not get warm on long usage when listening at acceptable volumes at home. The audio quality is flat and commendable in the Fosi amp, but I seem to miss the warmth my old Solidaire AS1200D amp provided. So, I tend to boost the lows and mids from the equalizer to get the desired effects. My decision on buying this over Aimyia amp was swayed because FOSI provide a warranty on their product, but Aimyia brand amps have no such mention in their listings.
