Not a good product
I have bought two of these and encountered the same issue. The battery doesn’t work. The first one would work for less than a minute and then die. The second one never even turned on, a yellow light would just blink when we tried to turn it on. They should do a better job of design or quality control before they sell these things. It’s not cool to see your kid excited and then very disappointed.

2nd hoverboard we've purchased for this Christmas
My son used his first Hover1 Hoverboard (purchased from Walmart) on Christmas morning and it was malfunctioning and smelling awful before shutting off completely. We purchased it in September, so it isn't returnable to the store and we got no response from Hover1 customer service. Purchased this one right away for my heartbroken little man, and now it won't stay on. We've charged it for 2 full days all together by now so it can't be dead...I'm beyond frustrated and my son is devastated. This was his "big gift" along with the Hover1 go-kart attachment, which is collecting dust in our garage.

Absolute trash
I bought 3 of these for my kids for Christmas and 2 of them came broken in the box. No charging, no lights, nothing. Hover-1 is absolute garbage. And Amazon also didn’t do anything to help.

DONT BUY THIS!
Does not turn on. Ive gave it a full day of charging and even still it doesn't function. Ive called thier customer service line and all they tell me is to just return the item because if not they will exchange my brand new item with a refurbished one and it can come in a different color/style! I tried exchanging this here on amazon and they only let me exchange for a different color even though the color I bought is in stock. This sucks!

Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money! I bought this in October for my daughter for Christmas. I should’ve opened it and checked it right away but I just wrapped it and put it away for Christmas. It literally never worked. It wouldn’t charge or turn on at all. It smelled really bad when she opened it. I bought my son the same one but a different color and his was a completely different style. The customer service was terrible. She was so sad!

DOES NOT WORK
This item is junk! It doesn’t charge…no matter if you hook it up for the minimum of 5 hours or over night. Once turning it on, it shuts back off within 5 minutes. DO NOT BUY! We got it as a Christmas gift and now our son is disappointed we have to send it back.
