Different design - too tight!
I have being buying these for years and have always loved them. At least a dozen pairs. Unfortunately the latest design is tight and leather not soft as before. Crippled my left foot. Really disappointed. I noticed the product number on tongue of shoe has changed with this pair. Bring back the old ones!

The original soldier boots.
Had these years ago, excellent use then, was overjoyed to find them again. I prefer the higher fit, more than the clarkes style.

Although comfortable to wear
I wish they were half a size (10.5 UK) smaller. Although comfortable to wear, the soles do slip on hard surfaces since they have no tread. I used to have a pair decades ago and found them as comfortable then as I do now to wear.
