I haven’t used it yet, but it’s looks to be a Good Drywall kit to fix a hole or crack etc in your ceiling or wall. Good to have on hand for repairs to home if /when needed.Came with 12 repair 8 inch sheets 2 180 grit sandpaper and 2 Plastic scrapers = 16 piece kit.I like that the repair sheets have an adhesive you pull of before placing it over the area needed fixed. Also the patches are made from an aluminum. So they will definitely hold up.Overall from what I can tell seems to be a really nice Kit and great Value!Too bad it didn’t come with some Joint Compound too!

Overall this is a nice drywall patch set. I have used patches purchased from the big orange superstore before, and these look just like those. They are 8" patches, meaning the metal reinforced area in the middle that's meant to support big, open holes. There is an extra 1" border all around (so the total patch is about 10" x 10") so that the hole will be fully covered with room to smooth the edges out with spackle. I'm going to repair a big hole caused by a door knob and I'm sure it'll do great! Mine didn't come with the sandpaper, just the yellow tools, so I took off a star.

The patch kit as described in the ad says it's for 16 patches that measure 8 in by 8 in.The patch kit I received only has 12 patches but they are 10 in by 10 in. Everything else is as described in the ad. And since the item number in the ad matches the item number on the packaging I received it appears that the description in the ad is incorrect, so I would expect that everyone who orders this will be getting what I got, not what they are expecting.The patches seem to be of decent quality, it's just too bad that the marketing for the product is incorrect.I hope this helps. I ordered this Bates- Drywall Repair Kit, 16 pcs, 8 Inch, Dry Wall Patch Kit to repair drywall holes.The metal portion is an 8 inch square, with a 2 inch overlap of drywall tape to adhere it to the wall. They stick well enough to hold it in place until the mud sets.The tools will work if you don't have any drywall knives. The sandpaper works to smooth and blend the edges.
