Description says: Inside (opening) Size: 3 x 4.5 InThe actual inside opening measures 3.5" x 5.5".I purchased two 10-packs of these, 1 in white, and 1 in black to work with some older 3.5" x 5" photos, but these are obviously too large for their intended purpose.

I was looking for black mat for my illustrations and this seems to be the only one I can find on Amazon that has a 3.5x5 cut out. It looks great with brown frame.
