Concert brilliant. So much old & new music from alas now no more with us musicians. Eric of course still there with his guitar. This is a must video to own for all who follow & love their music.

Trip down memory lane

This concert in front of a massive live audience by The Highwaymen is simply a must for all fans of good, quality, music, not only Country music fans. My husband and I have owned the VHS video of this concert for years now and have watched it dozens of times without ever tiring of it, and we never will. The songs, singers and backing musicians are SIMPLY THE BEST you will get. Put it on and I guarantee you will not be able to turn it off until the very last song and it just gets better and better. The sad part is, this will never be repeated, because only Willie and Kris are still alive, and my biggest disappointment is that I was never able to see them perform this concert live. It must have been the most wonderful experience. I have just ordered the DVD format of it and can't wait for it to arrive. Buy it now. Nobody should miss such a wonderful performance by four of the very best musical talents.

Such an enjoyable show, such a pleasure to see these stars who are also such are good friends enjoy what they do.

For completists of true country legends grab it while you can

This concert recorded in 1990 is a wonderful celebration of country music delivered by some of its greats.The Highwaymen perform some of their recordings as The Highwaymen, but the real highlight is the performances of some of their individual greatest hits performed in the setting of the group.I don't know much about Waylon Jennings but he makes a brilliant contribution. Kris Kristofferson is also a revelation. I have mainly come across his name as songwriter rather than performer."Ring Of Fire", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Big River", "Help Me Make It Through The Night", "City Of New Orleans", "Luckenbach Texas", "On The Road Again" are just some of the many highlights.As the group seem to be having a fantastic time together, cheering each other on. It is infectious. A real celebration of the genre on so many levels.The only downside is we no longer have the opportunity to see the likes of this live again.
