Quality item, well made, 10/10
Really great quality item. Telescope works great at the described magnification. Slightly weighty, quality feel to it. The box is also quite beautiful, well made, rich brown wood nicely finished, not tacky in any way, smooth edges, quality felt interior top and bottom. Whoever made these clearly cares about their work and is very good at their work. My son loves it.

Small but nice!
This is small but it is nice. It will be perfect for my pirate-loving grandson. The telescope is NOT made of cheap plastic! It actually has some weight to it. It does come with a little piece of faux leather on it which in my opinion cheapens the look just a bit. My grandson will not only be able to play pirates but he will also be able to take it on hikes and outings with his family. I love the idea of having a little box to put it in after a day of play or family fun.

Ahh Matey!
Three of my grandchildren have this. They love to play pirates. The little box it comes in is very nice. The telescope is made well, sturdy. My grandsons are rough and play hard, this was definitely a good choice for them. My granddaughter loves playing pirates also and checking out what she can find in nature as well. Great gift!

Perfect for little pirates
Our seven year old grandson will be coming to the ranch for the first time, and I have cooked up a story about “dwarf pirates” and a buried treasure chest. This telescope will be perfect. It is very nicely made and comes in a really beautiful wooden box. The magnification is quite low, but the optics are exceedingly clear. It is also just right size for a dwarf pirate.
