Rain-X RTU Summer Screenwash with Insect Remover & Rain Repellent - 5L

I think this is excellent screenwash. Firstly it does its primary job well, in that it cleans the screen effectively with a single application. Its also worked well in low temperatures, its been fine at -5oC. It also makes the windscreen water repellent, which is really bloomin useful! Firstly it clears rain away and so aids visibility, it also stops dirt building up so quickly, which is especially important on gritted roads! This is quote expensive for screenwash, but I think it justifies the price. I will try the concentrated version next, as this seems to offer better value for money. I also had the chance to test the Rain X Summer Car Care Kit, which was also very good. Firstly the bucket is both very substantial and strong, with a tightly fitting lid. A very welcome surprise. It's filled with screen wash, shampoo, insect remover and wheel cleaner. The sponge isn't the best but it's useable. I normally use a microfibre mitt when cleaning the car anyway. As described before, the screen wash is very good. I found the insect remover a little ineffective, especially with the vast number of bugs we've seen this summer. The wheel cleaner was very good. Fodming as you spray it onto the wheels, and it effectively removed grime and brake dust. What wasn't removed initially, easily came away as I hosed the cleaner off to leave lovely clean wheels. For the price, this is a very good and useful set of car cleaning products. I hope you find my review helpful.

I’m already a Rain-X fan, so I went into this expecting “good screenwash.” What I got was bug destruction + rain rejection + smug satisfaction in a bottle. This stuff doesn’t just clean your windscreen — it declares war on insects. Here’s what it feels like in real life: Bug removal: You hit a swarm of motorway insects and suddenly your windscreen is like: “Nope. Not today.” Everything just slides off like it got an eviction notice. Rain performance: First time it rains after using it, the water behaves like it’s late for something. It just beads up and leaves immediately. Very rude of it, honestly. Cleaning power: Bird mess, dust, mysterious road grime from places you’ve never been, gone. No drama. No streaks. Just clarity. Ease of use: Pour it in and go. No mixing, no science degree required, no “why is this foaming like a cappuccino machine?” situation. Overall vibe: It makes you feel like your car has upgraded its vision. Like you’ve gone from standard definition to HD. Only downside is I now judge other cars when I see dirty windscreens. Rain-X has made me slightly insufferable. Five stars. Would recommend. Probably will keep buying it forever because now I know what “actually clean windscreen” feels like.

Seems to clean the windscreen well asking as you use it frequently. Don't let stuff stick there too long or it will struggle to come off. I like the rain x feature as it definitely helps the rain water bees up. My partner doesn't like it as when you put the wipers on you get a slight white streak for a couple seconds each wipe the wiper blade goes over it.

Have used this for a while now, don’t dilute as ready made, smells good, great washer fluid, works well

Good quality screenwash, also keeps rainx topped up and beads when on highwaym
