Usually it would sit under whatever top you wear for running so there probably isn't a need.

Q: Can you easily access your phone etc when running? Is it fiddly to get out?

It can be a bit fiddly, you would have to stop. But it's a great product, much better than an armband imho.

Q: Im a size 12-14 so im inbetween sizes. Should i get the large or the xlarge?

Im a 12 and went for medium and its perfect. Id try a large. Xl prob too big.... but i guess theyre all stretchy
