Aleene's AR7-10 17843 Quick Dry Tacky Glue, 8 oz., Multicolor

I do a lot of volunteer work in the elementary school my grand dudes went to. As of last year they went onto jr high. I continued to volunteer. I create cards and gifts for the students to give to their parents for every holiday/occasion like Valentine’s Day, st Patrick’s day, Easter etc. I don’t go to the class to physically volunteer. I make kits for each student to make it easier for the teachers. All the teachers have to do is pass out the kits and follow my simple instructions. I wanted a glue that dried faster for the students to use. I did a search and read some reviews for the Aileen’s quick dry glue. I went to a well known craft store and bought a 4oz bottle. I did a test and it worked pretty well. The glue dried with in a minute or so. Faster than Aileen’s regular glue and the other brands I had. I was happy with the results which was what I was hoping for. At the store I saw that there was a spot for 8oz bottles but were out of stock. I was able to find it on amazon and the price was closer to the 4oz bottle. This was a much better deal so I ordered two bottles. They were delivered faster than I expected. I highly recommend the quick dry glue. Order it on Amazon for the best price and a larger bottle of glue. It is nice and thick.

Tacky glue works great for felt projects, googly eyes, and crafts in general. Definitely get the tacky glue for projects that require assembly with pieces.

THIS GLUE WORKS GREAT ~ IT GOES ON GREAT WITHOUT ALL THE MESS AND DRIES QUICKLY AND CLEAR. GOES ON THICK AND WORKS WONDERFUL FOR ARTS AND CRAFTS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I use this glue for my paper quilling projects. It sticks well and dries clear, making my projects flawless.

Awesome general purpose paper crafting, scrapbooking glue. Fast drying. CONS: May curl a thin light weight paper (24 lbs or less). It's similar to Tombow multi. Only much cheaper. It's heavier than Tombow aqua and suitable for more just paper.

The glue is fine; it might even be better than competitors. The ride, however, is not worth the fare. The container is problematic. It requires the top of the pointed cap to be cut, and is closed by use of a very small white cap that falls off and is easily lost. I think the cap would be snugger if a larger hole were cut in the pointed cap. The result would be a larger stream of glue being released when the bottle is squeezed. I don't want that. Given the way it is stored and even though I put it in a plastic bag, I expect the glue to dry out before it is used up.

I bought this in hopes that it would be a non-toxic alternative to another leading brand paper craft glue as a ground work glue for card making. Unfortunately, while this grabs fast and drys fast, after it completely cured it did warp the paper and the card. I did test the glue first and saw no indication of warping, but in the end I am a little embarrassed by the final warping of the card. However, it is an amazing glue for making paper flowers, as is it's counterpart Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue. So this will be a glue I turn too for embellishments like that in the future.

Lo he utilizado para encuadernar, se pega bien y al secar se vuelve como plástico flexible. No he intentado pegar piel pero con cartón, y tela, no tiene problemas hasta ahora.
