The towel rack does dry towels more thoroughly than air drying, but it takes a long time. This means leaving a 200 watt appliance running for hours at a time, adding too much to our electric bill. It might be worth it if the towels warmed up more, giving the bather a spa-like experience, but dry is the best it does.

This towel warmer package includes the towel warmer, installation hardware, an Allen wrench, and instructions. A drill, screwdriver and hammer are also required for installation. No template is provided for the four mounting holes but the instructions describe a way to use the box as a template.Assembling the four legs is straightforward and takes five minutes. Mounting to the wall requires four holes to be drilled and plastic expanders inserted. Mounting blocks are screwed into the expanders, then the towel warmer slips over the mounting blocks and is locked in place with set screws.The towel warmer has a brushed nickel finish. It plugs into a standard 120VAC outlet. The On/Off switch is on the bottom of the right-side vertical arm, near the power cord. The switch lights up when powered on but isn't actually visible. The white power cord is about 5 feet long.Once plugged in and turned on, the towel warmer became warm in five minutes, hot in 10 minutes, and too hot to touch in 15 minutes.
