New BalanceMen's Fresh Foam X 880 V14 Running Shoe

Well cushion but firm, supportive shoe. Last year’s model was pretty good but I like the quality of this model even more.

I like the streamlined look of this shoe, it doesn't look super bulky like a lot of current running shoes. First impression after a 5 miler is that they are firmer than they look and my feet are a little sore after this first activity. I currently have been working out in the New Balance Rebel V4 and Hoka Mach 6 and this shoe's midsole is much firmer than those. I'm thinking this shoe might be better suited for my HIIT class considering firmer midsole. I'm hoping the midsole breaks-in after I put more miles on the shoe. I'll check back in at a later date.

I wore out my 880 v12s and wanted these to replace them as my everyday walking shoe. The v14s are more of a running shoe style compared to the older v12s. The new one has a more structured upper and has a more cushioned sole than the v12s. They also look like more of a running shoe on feet because of the short ankle and wider sole. Very nice shoe
