Reliable Transfer Tape for Vinyl Projects
The Cricut Transfer Tape in the 12x48 size is a dependable choice for moving vinyl designs onto surfaces smoothly. It has just the right amount of stickiness to pick up designs without stretching or tearing them, while still releasing cleanly onto the final surface. The grid lines printed on the tape are especially helpful for keeping words and shapes straight, which makes projects look more professional. The roll is long enough to handle multiple projects, and the 12-inch width is versatile for most standard vinyl sizes. It works especially well with regular vinyl, though it can feel too strong for delicate or glitter vinyl, which may require a lighter tape. With a little care, it saves time and frustration during the application process. Pros: The tape is sticky enough to lift vinyl easily, the grid lines help with alignment, and the roll provides plenty of material for repeated use. Cons: It may be too strong for glitter or specialty vinyl, it can wrinkle if not applied carefully, and it adds extra cost compared to generic transfer tape. A reliable and easy-to-use transfer tape that helps vinyl projects look clean and professional. Perfect for standard Cricut projects where precision and smooth application matter.

Does the trick
Pretty easy to use sometimes the vinyl won’t adhere to the transfer tape and makes me work all sorts of angles to get it to transfer properly but other than that it releases the vinyl very easily onto the surface that I need it to. Will buy again.

It Works
It works but not 100%. I use it for Cricut's adhesive foil - Matte. The smaller letters (like the dot on "i") does not get picked up, so I will have to remove it separately. It is not too sticky, I would avoid touching it against the card you are sticking your art on, although it sucks at picking up the foil, it will stick to paper/card stocks, and will need to remove it slowly to avoid damages.

Best transfer tape! Tips and warnings in review
TIP- RETURN YOUR USED TAPE TO LINER AND YOU CAN REUSE OVER AND OVER! Even if i forget to return it to the liner, I still get a good 3to4uses for one piece. The lines however do wear off with brandishing but still very usable! Honestly my favorite transfer tape, has guided lines to help you line up your project and doesn't leave any stickyness on your project. WARNING FOR BEGINNERS- USE THIS TAPE FOR ALL VINYL and foil EXCEPT FOR GLITTER IRON ON. I made the mistake of using strong grip vinyl tape on my first project and spent literally 8hrs trying to slowly peel it off because it was so strong that it wouldn't come off my vinyl! Then i spent hours using nail polish remover to get the stick off. A lot of people say it's expensive, but i do SO much vinyl and my first roll lasted me a good 3months(check tip about to stretch out use)Definitely worth the price to make sure your projects come out flawless!!! Heres is step by step photos of me applying a vinyl hop to my machine. SEE PICTURES- This transfer tape was used 3 times! That is why it looks a little cloudy, It wasn't returned to liner so it sat face up for over a week and still worked perfectly!

PRO TIP
I see that a lot of people had a hard time using this product, but it is very easy! I will leave some helpful tips down below. This works for all textures, mattes, shiny, and glitter! When trying to pick up the vinyl onto the transfer tape... 1. Place transfer tape on vinyl and use a scraping tool or a credit card to adhere both together. 2. Flip the whole thing over and peel the backing on the vinyl off. TIP: pull the backing almost 180 degrees opposite of how it was laying. While you’re peeling the backing off, lightly press down and pull. If you notice the vinyl is not releasing from the backing, then press down tighter on the backing (without folding it/making a crease) and pull. Keep doing this method until you have successfully transferred the vinyl onto the tape. When placing the vinyl down onto crafting surface... 1. Place transfer tape with product down onto a clean and smooth surface. 2. Use scraping tool or credit card to adhere vinyl to the surface. 3. Pull the transfer tape back 180 degrees, using the same method above especially if you have a hard time releasing the vinyl. If it won’t stick, go back to step 2. Hope this was helpful for you all. I will try to add a video when I have some free time. Let me know if this was helpful to you! HAPPY CRAFTING!

Great!
This works great, and is a must have! The thickness is perfect, and the stickiness is the perfect amount. I've bought others that didn't want to release the vinyl at all. The ease of cutting is easy, and I like that the sizing can be adjusted to the item you're wanting to transfer.

Fantastic product
This transfer tape works perfectly. It easily picks up the vinyl designs I create on my Cricut machine and lets me apply them to any surface. I found it tricky to get the transfer tape on to the vinyl smoothly to begin with but after experimenting I found a method that worked for me. I like the fact that this transfer tape has grid lines on it so you can easily line up your projects to make sure they are straight when moving them. I would highly recommend this product to anyone just starting out.
