Sweeney's 5200 All Out Snake Repellent, Granular, 4-Pound40;not avalibale in NM41;

We have a problem with an introduced species......poisonous toads! There are hundreds of them everywhere. Our yard was filled with them. I have no idea of this really works from a scientific point of view but we were desperate so I ordered. I scattered it around the perimeter of the yard. We have dogs and my worst fear is that they would catch on and die. Well, we find about 1 toad every few weeks in the yard now. They are still all around us. I can hear them at night. There are so many and they are so loud, it is like a concert....but they are not coming into my yard. I have to presume that it really does repel them. This product only last a few months and then I have to sprinkle more.We don't have snakes on our island so I have no idea if it repels snakes.

I live across from an open field that recently has become new homes under construction. Immediately, I was seeing snakes constantly in my yard in spite of a med size dog in residence. I don't like killing them and sought a product that would make them avoid my yard. Since putting it on the perimeter, I haven't seen a single snake and the field continues to become new homes. We've had about 3 strong storms and it's time to re-apply.It could be coincidence but I am a believer so far.

This is the worst stuff EVER!!! I bought three bags of this to sprinkle around my house because baby snakes kept crawling up on my patio. I applied it at TWICE the recommended rate and, the next morning, I came outside and there was a baby snake laying IN the Sweeney's Snake Repellent. It was almost like it attracted them instead of repelling them. After complaining to Amazon, they finally DID refund my entire purchase amount but this product should be reported as scam because it definitely did NOT work in my case.

This stuff works great. My mother is deathly afraid of snakes and they tend to like to hang out on her back porch during the Spring/Summer because it's sunny and warm. I sprinkled a small amount all around the perimeter and it kept them away. Haven't seen a snake at all. It's nice because it's natural and won't harm the creature only repel it.

This the best repellent to get rid of any snake problem. I applied this twice this summer and not one snake in the yard. I spread it around the perimeter of my property. The smell is a sweet clove smell. Safe for pets and children too. I always have a bag on hand.

I guess it worked. I didn't see any snakes for a week or two, but I didn't exactly have an infestation to begin with. As far as I'm concerned though, one is too many. This stuff just cost too much for such a little bag. I would think you could maybe get it cheaper at a big box store, but I've never checked. This was a middle of the night impulse buy so I didn't exactly shop around.

In June 2013, it seemed every corner I turned on my property there was a snake lurking, garder snake that is. I am scared to death of snakes, and simply loathe them. I have a very large yard with many gardens, a block retaining wall, pool, deck, and lots of river rocks,,,all great living quarters for snakes. I order 2 bags of Sweeney's 5200 All Out Snake Repellent, 4 pds, and spread them around the radius of my yard,,, the natural ingredients give off an herbal scent, and I have not seen another snake since!!! I will definitely order this product again should the snakes return next year.

Haven't had any snakes in the yard yet so I assume it is working. I will buy some more since it's been a little over a month since I used it and we're in the middle of monsoon season. A lot less expensive then paying for treatment for a snake bite.. Bag is designed to make it very easy to spread. Appreciated that.
