Sturdy, weĺl made, nimble and not heavy
Initial review, I will update later. I switched from a couple of pairs of timberland pro work shoes to these, the outer materials are more tough feeling in comparison. I work on ladders on construction sites and need to be sure footed when I'm up high. I also needed light weight, which these are as I regularly put in 15k steps at work. I like that they look and feel like regular shoes so Ican stop on my way home and do some shopping. There's no break-in period with these, they're comfortable out of the box. There's nice suede at the area where the shoe bends for durability and the heel support is nice and solid, no side to side bending. One year update. These shoes took a beating, heavy indoor and outdoor construction site use. There is one small rip on one side, most likely from sheetmetal. The soles stayed together, the only thing that got deformed was the heal surround. I just purchased my second pair after a year, because they were on sale. I tried other similar brands and they're just not as wide in the toe area and not as flexible. Surprisingly the soles are not badly worn, and the front and top of the toe area is not destroyed. I would definitely recommend these for similar uses.

1 million steps and counting
I am an automotive technology instructor at a busy technical college. I average about 12,000 steps per day at work and often I am at work more than 15 hours. I purchased these shoes in the beginning of April and by my best estimate I have logged about 1 million steps in them since then. They are excellent. They were comfortable right out of the box. They are reasonably stylish (although not a huge concern for me). They have proven to be durable so far. I have spent 40 years on my feet in the industry and these are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn to work in. They are so comfortable that I often wear them when I am not working. I'm considering buying a second pair to keep clean for wearing to other functions. My only complaints are that they don't come in brown and they squeak a bit on our polished concrete floors. That's it. Buy these shoes and treat your tired feet to some relief.

Great aesthetics but be aware and understanding
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The shoe bottom is stiff like a flank of wood and I recommend folding it in half for a minute to allow it to flex easier when walking. Some discomfort on the inside outer seam when the shoe folds because it has double the material that folds over stiffly which is a trade off between comfort and durability. I wear an 11.5 shoe and prefer wide due to it typically giving a less pointed toebox. Safety toe shoes are naturally rounded so I still choose wide to avoid the hardened toe from irritating my toes or pinching if you kneel. This shoe seems to be a little wider in the foot and toebox than my other keen and timberland safety toe shoes. The toe box I appreciate but the foot area requires more synching to avoid some swimming. I could’ve probably went down a half size and wide would’ve been more fitting but not sure if it was worth the back and forth since it seems I’m between both options. The comfortability is as good as my others in the past while being more casual and not soo over the top looking. When wearing this shoe, I can still smell a rubber/ chemical (NOT like NEW tire smell) smell (while wearing them) after 1 week still.

So so shoe.
Not bad bad shoe but not what I was hoping for. Over construction is good, insoles are ok but with the composite toe the shoe folds funny so the idea of having a semi formal shoe with safety toes didn’t go as well as I hoped. Depending on the industry a darker color would be recommended. Not the shoes fault but just my 2 cents

Work shoes and more
I bought this for work, as I love the brand, but it’s actually become my go-to for almost everything else because it’s comfortable and a nice solid shape and style. Roomy fit at front. So it’s easy on the foot, and for me, it also keeps me from feeling hot. I sized like I do most athletic shoes. (Note: I “measure at a 9,” but I pretty much always get at least a 9.5 when I buy shoes, and my feet aren’t wide at all). The composite toe isn’t noticeable to me. I always work with them bc I appreciate, and use, the protection. But yeah, I wear these to the stadium, to concerts, to a party…

Toebox is not even close to being wide enough
I had to return these because my toes didn't fit at all. Like almost all shoe companies, Keen makes ridiculously narrow toeboxes that don't match the natural shape of the human foot, even when they are labelled "extra wide". As far as alternatives for safety toe shoes, my toes do fit comfortably in the "6D" width by the Hoss brand and they also fit comfortably in the Carets brand "Determination" boots. It's a shame that so many companies like Keen make otherwise good quality shoes with many positive features and good build quality, but they lack the common sense to make the toebox match the actual shape and function of human feet. It's a baffling and absurd situation with the entire footwear industry.

Break them in, it's worth it.
I've worn these shoes for a couple of weeks. I'm on my feet all day running around on the job site. They were reasonably comfortable, but the carbon toe on the right shoe comes back a little far and pressed on the top of the foot. I thought about sending them back but decided to stick it out and see if it would break in. I'm glad I did. On the 4th or 5th day I worked 15 hours and at the end of the day I realized I hadn't thought much about it. Now it doesn't bother me at all, they're super comfortable, and I'm really glad I stuck it out. I walk about 15,000 steps a day so it took a minute to break them in, but I've also spent a lot of money on work shoes and these are the best by far. All the other shoes either fall apart immediately, are uncomfortable, or are big and bulky. I've spent between $60 and $175 so I think this price is fair for what you get. I like the fact that they're low profile and stylish.

Perfect for great big feet!
My son wears a 16 so we almost always have to order online. Places just don't carry his size. But he has come to really love these KEENs.

Not as comfortable as other Keens
I’m a huge fan of Keens and have had more than a dozen pairs over the years. These shoes are nowhere near as comfortable as Keens normally are. There’s not nearly as much support as I’m accustomed to with Keens.

Amazon sent me worn shoes
Shoes were obviously worn before. No attempt to even clean the soles and I paid full price for them? The shoes have comfortable insoles. Width is about 11.2cm. Great for my super wide feet. So far feels pretty good. DO BETTER AMAZON.

Light weight
It’s light for sure , but not that much comfort … but at the end it’s a safety shoes so don’t expect that it will be super comfy
