Citronella Candles Outdoor, 2 Pack Citronella Candle Lanterns with Lid

I absolutely love these citronella candles. Right out of the box they had a strong citronella scent So, I was sure they would be absolutely repulsive to mosquitoes! The design with the vented lid with star cut outs is cute and functional. It blocks any kind of breeze well enough to keep the flame going. I have been using these candles on my patio under the pergola. The scent, while burning is there, but not overwhelming at all. I used to get absolutely eaten alive by mosquitoes out here. But these little candles have basically eliminated that.

My wife wanted some decorative candles for outside to keep the bugs away. Found these quick and bought them. Because I'm the husband and impatient I didn't read anything about them. Just saw how cute they were and bought them. You get 2. How awesome is that? I didn't even know, because again, I didn't read anything about them. I just bought it based on looks. They have little cork lids under that dome cap thing. That's just a thoughtful detail right there. They've been out in the heat and haven't melted. What sorcery is that? If you're looking for functionally cute candles, you've found them. Worth the price and surprisingly high quality.

Cute, would be great on a table outside. Have not used them yet

Good candle, not too strong of a smell

Super

Cute but sadly, small and not strong enough scent to repellent mosquitoes. I still saw a cloud of mosquitoes feasting on me. I would not buy this again as mosquito repellent but I would for the cute design and ambiance for my patio.

I bought these candles for accents on the iron gate for the yard witch I made for Halloween. These burn all night in the cold and snow and wind. We did have 30mph winds that blew the north side out over night, and then the south side a different day. But even high winds take a while to extinguish them! It was 6 degrees this Halloween morning. So cold the moisture in the air freezes and settles. I did not light them on All Hallows Eve. They are still half full after continuous overnight burning for several days! They do have a strong lemongrass smell upon opening, but it dissipates after being outside. The packaging holds that smell and had to go to recycling. Can't say how effective they are on mosquitos being it's winter here, but they look nice and burn long. Would totally buy again. The 3-pack looks slightly different and is a better buy, but these look nicer and only come in the 2-pack.

Super cute. Metal latch opens to let out glass jar. Metal cap just sits on top, with room for the cork to keep in concentrated citronella.

We love this! this product really works! no more flies in the balcony when this candle burns! also the smell is pleasant! very nice product!
