YETI Roadie 32 Wheeled Cooler

Not a cheap item, but you won't ever have to replace it. So think of all the cheaper coolers you buy over time. And the waste in landfills they take up. This is well worth it. This is perfect for our family of 3 and then some. I love that it's on wheels so I can roll it down to the street to the 4th of July parties. I get many envious looks as I pass by (our town swells to 200,000 for the holiday with the oldest parade in the nation, so the red is perfect!). I love that it's big enough to hold plenty, but not so big that I can't lift it filled, on my own, into the back of my car, Have I mentioned HOW SMOOTH the rolling is? Like butter smooth due to the hard wheels. Ice has stayed frozen in it for over a day, and when it does melt there's that nifty drainage plug at the bottom on the back. I have not bought a divider for the inside of it, but I could see that being wonderful to keep cans to one side and ice to the other. The basket is helpful to keep some things up higher you may not want touching ice (lemons with a paring knife and bottle opener, with fresh ice below). It's a great item. It's no surprise - Yeti does it right.

I wanted to see what this baby could do. Net-net: incredible cooler performance. I loaded cooler on Day 1 at noon time with 15 pounds of ice, 20+ beverage cans added at room temp, plus 2 gallons of water at ambient spigot temp. Cooler is situated on my deck and was opened and closed heavily on Day 1 for about 5 hours. The cooler was mistakenly left ajar over night on Day 1 and then properly closed the following morning. First pic is cooler content on Day 3 still in same spot on my deck at about 5:00pm. Uber cold!! Second pic is on Day 4 at about 5:00pm on a day when outdoor temps took off. You see in third pic that temp on my deck was over 98 deg. F. I still got ice in the cooler. Yeti...you rock!!

This is a solidly built cooler. The material, the telescope handle and the wheels are all solid. The cooler kept everything cold in our recent 4-day trip from South Florida to Northern Maine. The chemical ice packs remained solid at the end of our trip. We also put ice cubes in a couple of ZipLoc bags for additional chilling effect. We did replace the ice cubes every night in our hotels, as they melted a bit every day. It was not a problem because every floor in our hotels has an ice machine.

I’ve been eyeing a YETI for a while, and finally treated myself to the 32 in the stunning wine color — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The color is even more beautiful in person — rich, bold, and unique. It stands out in the best way, and I’ve already gotten so many compliments on it. It’s definitely an investment, but if you want a cooler that turns heads and delivers top-tier functionality, this one’s a winner. 10/10 recommend!

Very sturdy, well made cooler that should work well for years. We also wanted one with a sturdy drain that should stay tight, which this has. This cooler is more expensive than standard coolers of the same size. And the Yeti's empty weight is also more than others, that may be an issue for some persons once it is full of ice and food or drink items.

Yeti product are really great and high quality! I was excited to by this cooler because of the wheels!! They work really good and are super durable! You can fit so much and it stay cold for over a day!!
