Meaco MeacoCool Pro Series 7000 Portable Air Conditioner - Wi-Fi enabled with Meaco App, Low Energy, Low Noise, Free Flexible Window Kit

The Mrs and I are really impressed with the MeacoCool Pro Series 7000. We use it in a roughly 3m x 3.5m bedroom and the 7000 BTU cooling capacity is more than enough. It brings the temperature down quickly and has been an absolute lifesaver during the recent UK heatwaves. The unit is fairly large but looks better than a lot of alternatives, it’s quite loud when running, but that’s something you have to expect with a portable air conditioner. Despite this, we’ve found the noise more than manageable and have been able to sleep with it running overnight without much trouble. The supplied Velcro for the window adapter is sufficient, although it does have its limitations. We’ve found it works well provided the window itself doesn’t get too warm and you aren’t constantly removing and reinstalling the window adapter. With frequent removal, the Velcro adhesive can start to lose some of its grip. Overall, the cooling performance is excellent and that’s ultimately what matters most. For our size bedroom, 7000 BTU seems like a great balance and it has made hot summer nights considerably more comfortable. 4/5 — excellent cooling performance and a great portable AC, great value for money with a few minor compromises.

Cools my upstairs 3 bed house very well. Uses roughly 1kw/h. It is very noisy louder than i was expecting definitely cannot sleep with it on. Although it is portable it is very heavy so I don't recommend moving it up and down stairs, but the wheels do help moving it around a single floor. Great for during the heatwaves.

Great unit and very powerful for its size, integrates into the smart home with our other meaco products with ease. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the unit doesnt actually have a way to tell you what the current temperature is, while we have external temperature sensors in the room I feel this feature should have been a must. Their dehumidifier has this feature so its puzzles me why the aircon doesnt. Feel solids and look to be a machine that will last!

Very effective and whisper quiet

Great so fat. The window kit requires you to stick Velcro everywhere but made my own solution. Easy to use and app works well Would recommend for bedroom

I must say I am a little disappointed with this product. It’s noisy and it certainly doesn’t cool down my small office as much as I would have liked. For the money I expected far more. I expected it to reduce the temperature of the room to the temperature that you can set it to, but no. It makes things slightly more comfortable, but hardly any more difference than a big fan. It’s a shame, you expect more from a brand that you know.

Great product, very efficient.

Why did you choose this product over others?: It is a lifesaver during heatwaves. I already have another Meaco product. That way, I can control both machines in one app. That is why I chose this airconditioner than other brands. Plus, it is a smart assistant compliant. Call me lazy but sometimes, I just would like to ask Google to turn it on or off.
