AA 3.5 kg Pack of De-icing Salt - Black

It took a while to melt the ice and was hard to distribute evenly so didn't go far, barely covered the drive way in one go. The most annoying part was when I had to bang it on the floor and poke at it for ages, because it had all clumped together in a ball inside the container. Would have been cheaper and easier to buy several bottles/bags of table salt from the supermarket!

I bought this as I have stairs outside my flat and wanted a handy salt holder if I ever needed to apply in frosty weather. It does just that, however I would recommend the better value for money pack version which has two additional bags of salt to refill. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. Worth checking out before purchasing.

Bought this with the bad weather being promised. I used it to treat our back yard that always freezes solid. I put it on ice and it took maybe 20 minutes to start breaking it up but when it cleared it kept it ice free for over 24 hours. Definitely buy it again

Easy to store packaging

A very good material for old folks like us as at our age falling in not an option at all, since it usually means curtains for us as well. It stays as like grit and stops you from slipping over. Really worth while for the old. The snow rapidly disappears and ther is left a safe place for us to tread on. Buy it for all means but leave some for us.
