KEEN Utility Women's Arvada Low Height Composite Toe Breathable Industrial Work Sneakers

Really comfortable shoes, I’m number 9 and I ordered 8.5 because runs big

I purchased these for my job, I stand for over 10 hrs a day and they are one of the more comfortable pairs of composite toe shoes that I own. They are wide enough and sturdy. They look nice also. I did add my own insoles so I cannot comment on the factory insoles. I would recommend them, and find that they were a good value.

These shoes are probably made really well and likely are durable, but I didn't like how they felt on my foot. They were hard and stiff. I have a pair of Keen hiking boots and I LOVE them. They didn't need any breaking in. They give me great support and yet flex with my foot. I have trouble with metatarsal pain. Keens come in wide that accommodate my wide feet. No pain. So I wanted a tennis type shoe to wear to the gym (not hiking boots), so I ordered these because they also were available in wide. It says they are industrial shoes, for warehouse workers. Well, I figured if a person is on their feet in a warehouse all day, their shoes had better be comfortable. These were not. Perhaps they provide great protection for industrial hazards. I give Keen credit for that, but for normal everyday use, or at the gym or street walking, I found them too stiff. They were light weight. I did not wear them long enough to break them in because I decided to return them new. Maybe after a week's wear, they'll soften up, but I didn't want to chance it. Sadly their sportier style didn't come in wide. Guess I am stuck with hiking boots. Oh, and I have a pair of Keen shoes that have the open weave kind of upper. They also are flexible and comfortable and don't cause metatarsal problems. Maybe I'll wear them to the gym.

These shoes were great for me. They lasted me a year before having to unfortunately replace them as my work requires me to move around a lot. They are a little heavier then the current pair I have but I got used it to. I would buy these again for certain.

While I do still have them and wear them, in the beginning they gave be such horrid blisters and I bled at the top of my heel where the top of the shoe meets my foot. It was as if the shoe curved inward creating rubbing. I had to clamp them in wood each night for weeks to bend the heel back.
