OK this is how I decided to buy this pole cutter, honestly "" so I don't own a chain saw, I new someone who did which they helped me cut, so now every time I need to cut, I have to have help, I'm independent " so I have a lot of over growing branches in someone's garden, I don't ofter feel like doing this job, so I needed my own cutter, didn't want petrol, had to be instant, long reach" and powerful, I done my research, and found this pole saw, reviews were good, electric chainsaw! Mmm didn't think it would be powerfull enough, anyway a bought it, it arrived,VERY EASY ASSEMBLY!,,so I'v filled it with oil, has a clear part so you can see the level, of I went to try it, F,,,,,, NG amazing machine, a little heavy, but with the strap it sawed everything I wanted it to in a breeze, this wolf pole saw is excellent, well worth every penny, its already paid for itself after just half hour of cutting, a new blade £10 bought as a spare so its cheap to run to, massive wire, a special tool, can't go wrong, made up with this machine, if someone rates it any other way, its THEM NOT THE MACHINE

Brilliant piece of kit for pruning a tree and even getting through some thick trunks to be honest. We have a Laurel bush and it makes it way through that no problem. Advice... fill up with oil but also oil the chain and blade before starting. It just ensures the blade and chain move easily without heat or friction from the moment you turn it on rather than waiting for it to oil itself. Also... Tension the blade up then release by half a turn to give some small slack (3mm away from blade) then tighten the side up. This gives the right amount of slack to cut with ease. Well built and up to the job.

I bought this to take the top out of a very tall leylandii hedge. It dealt with limbs up to 3" diameter on a horizontal cut if needed. (ensure you are on a suitable raised platform for this) I cut down approx 12x1 metres of hedging in a 6 hour stint and it used approx 1 litre of chainsaw oil. The chain is still sharp and there is no apparent slack in the chain yet from initial adjustment. Yes it is heavy at the end when on full reach but at short length it is quite comfortable in 5-10 minutes bursts with 5 minutes debris clearance between - and I'm not muscular by any means and have just reached my half century. The only criticism I have, hence not 5 stars, is that the head unit is not quite a snug fit on the pole. Mine show signs of being loose after 30 minutes. I tightened the housing screws at the rear and this got rid of it for a while longer but it came back. (only a little slackness). I think the unit needs a rubber pad at the rear edge to take up the manufacturing variances between the pole and the housing mouldings. Then again, I did give it a severe testing session.... Other than that this product seems quite good and is considerably quieter than a petrol alternative.

It is a good product and easy to install and use. However, the videos show the branches being chopped very easily but it takes a lot of time to cut the branches and that means you need to be relatively strong to hold it up for up to 20 min to cut branches about 6 to 8 cm wide. I found it no faster than using a manual saw but unlike saw it does reach tall branches.

Hubby loves his new tool it has a good long reach on it and a powerful chainsaw. Well made value for the money. It’s corded but that means u obv won’t run out of battery if ur cutting something down that needs Urgent attention. Easy to use Yes a good purchase

Worked better than expected, good reach cuts 60mm tree branches with ease. Would recommend if looking for an occasional use cutter, not sure how it would stand up to daily repeated use, but for what I use it for. Spot on

This is a quality product. It really is very good, and wasn't too difficult to assemble. I have a massive gum tree in my garden that is far too big for the garden, and i have been using this along with 5m ladders to cut down the branches and save me a load of money on tree surgeon fees. The branches are really big and dense and some probably weigh around 200kg...so I have probably been using this beyond its design capabilities...but it has met every challenge I have thrown at it easily. Fantastic. 5 stars.
