This product did not perform well at all in the Texas heat. I tried to use it to keep me cool riding to our weekly bike race. I don’t think it stayed cold for more than 10 minutes before all the cool packs had wilted in the heat… it was very hot but I had hoped for at least 30 minutes.

If youre constantly working in hot spaces this is a true lifesaver since they get over 130 degrees in the summer

It lasts only 20 minutes! For an 8 hour work day, you’d need to have at least 10 vests and a big freezer nearby to keep re-freezing them. Ridiculous. Useless for my needs. It did keep my chest & back cool for the 20 minutes, but I was still sweating everywhere else.

After freezing this over night I wore this on a very hot summer day and was surprised how long it provided relief for. I put it on at noon and when I went home at 5 the vest was still cooling. Throw in freezer, use again the next day.
