I recommend starting with 5 minute sessions to see how you do. I also feel like the glasses needed to be upgraded with another set that maybe costs more with better coverage. I think it’s working. I’m using it for wrinkles, psoriasis, and joint issues. Updated review After about 6 weeks, I decided to change up the amount of time using/nm. I did about 20 minutes on 690, then 20 minutes on 940 once daily. The lamp base is unstable, but the price is great. The thing about red light is you have to have the right balance and know the right balance. For instance, I found that getting the lamp closer to my skin (especially face) wasn’t necessarily more effective. It needs to be far enough away at the right wavelength for the right amount of time. The key with this is consistency too. You can find the right balance. Not everything works the same for everyone else. Another thing I want to point out is this really dried out my skin. If you’re like me, I recommend a good moisturizer afterwards. This was my routine in the morning (everyday). Get up and wash face using PMD clean acne blue light face massage. Use the blue light side for maybe 10 minutes. Then (before adding any moisturizer), use the red light. I found that the combination really produces results. The 590 isn’t really beneficial for joint problems. I would use the 940nm on my right knee and it felt better. I also found that laying in front of the 940nm, I wanted to go to sleep afterwards. The 690nm I think does the opposite. This is a cheap version of the RLT (for those of us who don’t want to spend hundreds). I noticed a change in my face after 6-8 weeks. It looked younger, brighter, healthier. I believe if you do a combination of the red light, blue light, wash face twice a day, and use a decent moisturizer (I used shideido benefiance wrinkle smoothing) you can see results. Again, consistency. This is my opinion after several months. I hope this helps someone.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm not sure see much happening skin wise and I use it daily naked for the most skin contact possible but if I have a scratch or cut or bruise it does give me superhuman healing power. I've been using it for 6 months every day shower time

I bought this item because it was a very good price on Prime Day. The specs of the light match those of ones that cost hundreds of dollars. It's been a month and so far, so good! I use it for 15 mins a day while laying down and have the light held close to my face. I went out the other day and a friend who was sitting close to me asked "have you had "work" done? Botox? Because you look amazing!". I feel like the only thing I've done different is incorporate this light into my daily life.

Directions to put together were very vague. It’s also top heavy so difficult to use and not be looking at it. Due to difficulty using I’ve not noticed relief in pain or increased sleep quality.

Just bought this a week ago and waiting for results. I've been consistent and will update when I get results soon. Also, easy to install, the neck sometimes doesn’t stay steady but works good.
