The first thing that hit me when I opened the packaging was the smell of real leather, a really good bag.Ive done extensive searching for a backpack that looks nice, more like a handbag. I push my mam in wheelchair a lot and need to be hands free. But am conscious of backpacks being easy for pickpockets.I got the burgundy/brown colour (took ages to decide because there are so many nice colours).It is a little smaller than I would usually have, but in saying that I have managed to get all my usual stuff in.There is the main section which is only accessible if you actually take it off you're back/ shoulder and take handles sorry to undo the zip. I put purse, notepad, keys, 2 biggish re-useable carrier bags, small roll of sellotape in there. There's a little inside pocket in there too where I have mirror, scissors, safety pins, plasters and emery board.Theres a slim pocket on the back side (which would be against your body) which I put pens n a set of small screwdrivers in.Then on the outer side another hidden zipped picket which I have small hand cream and hand sanitizer in. Then a little pocket which I use for tissues, lip balm and lip gloss.Well, you're probably thinking one of two things now.Either, wow that's brilliant OR she keeps a lot of crap in her bag!!!I like to be ready for any problems.I thought I wouldn't get everything in our it would feel too bulky but it doesn't.I love it and think ity will last me a good few years to come.It is very well made, attention to detail is excellent. I love the fact it comes as over the shoulder then you unzip the strap for it to be a backpack.AND much cheaper than the same bag by different sellers on here.

Got this for my wife and she LOVES it.She is a rucksack fanatic and loves purple, so I thought she'd love it. The colour isn't quite as vivid as the picture, but it actually looks much nicer in 'real life'.It's a very well-thought out piece of kit, and is very spacious, with lots of pockets and nooks and crannies to put... whatever women put in their handbags and rucksacks... and with my wife it's a LOT!One gripe... which stops it getting the full 5 stars... The zips don't look like they are that strong. We will see... but it's odd that something that has been designed so well, and put together so well... has such cheap-looking zips.But that's MY observation. The good lady who it was purchased for.. loves it. :)

This bag is fantastic, the leather is so soft and has an amazing smell, I love the zip at the back which sits next to your back, making it more secure. The colour is a little more red than the picture but still really nice. I wanted a bag for my hols , and this is perfect. Amazing service also, arrived well before due date. Would deffinatley buy from this seller again.

This was a good bag for style and security but I returned it because I thought the leather wasn’t as good quality as I expected. Possibly I was just unlucky, because most other reviewers thought it was good. It also didn’t have an interior phone pocket which was something I needed.

Soft leather bag, roomy with extra pocket inside & couple smaller pockets on outside. . Excellent price for this bag when others are lot more in price. Arrived in quick time. Well pleased all round

I already had an identical Vera Pelle bag of my own in pink with brown trim, which I love. So I decided to buy one for my sister for her birthday in black with red trim. The bag is lovely soft leather and was much cheaper on amazon than I paid for mine on the high street. So a beautiful bag for a very good price. Highly recommended.

Have had so many compliments about this bag, both the colour and design. Use it every day as it is perfect for all occasions. The leather is reasonably thick, flexible and well stitched. The surface (and colour) is starting to wear in a few places now.
