So first things first since these are going on the Bose QC Ultra to get out of the way yes these do negatively impact the the active noise cancellation, but I wouldn't say it affects it too much as it is still perfectly usable as noise canceling headphones just not as isolating as the originals, but I'll chalk that up to it's design. Now with that out of the way lets get the the pads themselves, they are very comfortable they're noticeably thicker than the original pads and also stiffer than the original pads, but they're still extremely soft, very comfortable, and far better at keeping my ears cool compared to the originals. The reason that they're cooler is partially due to the fact that unlike the originals these aren't fully made of leather and have a cloth facing which is the part that touches your skin on top of that they also added the cooling gel which helps immensely for long periods of use. Like most people I mainly use my Bose QC Ultras for travel as to date they're one of the best noise canceling experiences I've had and have some of the best audio and although I love the comfort, I did have a problem with them making my ears a little too sweaty and although I do give up some of the noise canceling abilities I gain better long-term comfort do to my ears no longer starting sweat as soon as I put on my headphones. Installation was very easy as the original pads are just clipped in place and can be easily pulled off and all you have to do is press there pads on. While I am glad they included the replacement backing that cover the speaker grill in my case I didn't need to use them since my backings were still perfectly fine, but for anybody who heavily use their headphones and they have gotten their backing dirty it's a great plus for the price. I will definitely be keeping these pads on my headphones and it will continue to use them and report any issues they may have with them in the future, but for about $23 these are a great upgrade for anybody who is willing to give up a bit of sound isolation for cooler ears.

These pads are a mixed bag. While the material is softer and arguably more comfortable than the originals, they compromise the headphone's best features • The Fit: They are much thicker than stock pads, giving the headset a bulky “pumped” look • The Silence: The non-original density interferes with the Active Noise Canceling, making it much less effective • The Tech: The extra volume prevents the auto-pause sensor from working correctly; Your music won't stop when you take them off If you only care about cushion, they're fine. If you want your Noise Canceling and sensors to work, stick with the Bose originals.
