It's a good quality helmet. It'll work for both. My daughter uses it for skating more than riding her bike as she prefers to skate. She just turned 7. She's had it since Christmas. We love it.

Cute and decent for price

My daughter loves it, it's super cute and feels like it would be protective in case of a fall when riding bike. I'm knocking off a star though because I wish it had one of those dials for adjusting fit.
