If the arthritis is in the wrist then yes it is... It won't help with fingers or elbows but it does ease wrist pain ans will keep the lower warm.

Q: When you fasten this, does the stiff side of the velcro face out? Hoping it won't stick to blankets while I sleep...

Glad you said WHY you were asking the question. The tab is really long. I had to trim the velcro tab. This allowed me to position it so I had no problems with it catching on things. just press the end down good and you should be ok. If it really makes you nuts at night, then place a clear piece of packing tape over the end of the tab at night and remove it in the morning. I think you will not need to do this however. I had no problems.

I ordered these in Universal size for myself and my rather thin daughter. I am thin myself though not as thin as her. They fit us both. You sound like the size of my adult sons and I would purchase this size for them as well.

Q: Will this help with forearm tendonitis pain during the workday?

I am unable to wear it at work in the medical field. I wore it during sleep which, for me, made my arm hurt more. The item itself is very well made. I deal more with numbness in my hand, than I do pain.
