The Fairfield design is a classic medallion of the Louis De Poortere archive, featuring an elaborate border. It is partly erased as if it hasn't been used for decades and then been rediscovered in the attic. Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into every rug we produce. Woven on jacquard Wilton looms with cotton chenille yarns, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ‘vintage’ look. Each rug is available in nine standard sizes and woven with the reassurance of an anti-slip backing. Flatwoven rugs approx 8mm in thickness.
