Metal reinforced rim is key, nice quality silicone
Perfect size for single serving sauces. I'm able to freeze sauces for later use.These are a good quality silicone with a nice thickness. The metal bar built into the rim makes it sturdy so liquids don't make it flop into itself and I don't have to try and fit a cookie sheet in the freezer.Frozen cubes are easy to remove and everything pops right back in place.They wash well (I do wash by hand) and haven't stained with tomato sauce.Using these cuts down on waste for shelf-stable sauces that need to be refrigerated after opening as i can freeze the rest and use for meal prep over a longer period of time.Nice to have 3 of them so I can get more done on meal prep days.

Easy to use and stack.
These ice cube trays are a bit different then what I've had in the past. But they are really cool, do the job nicely. Their really easy to get the ice cubes out. Just hold by the sides and squeeze them out by the bottom. I bought three and would by them again.

Great for freezing
Love these trays!! They end up holding just about a half cup of liquid in each cube, perfect for freezing my bone broth.

Great for making flavored ice cubes!
I purchased these to make some pineapple ice cubes for my Mardi gras punch, which I took to work for a potluck. Regular ice cubes would have diluted the punch. To be sanitary, I placed the trays in the dishwasher first - they held up nicely. To make the cubes, just pour any kind of juice into the trays and put the lids on. The trays are a bit floppy (that is the only reason I took off one star) when you're placing them in the freezer - just be really careful or slide something rigid underneath, perhaps a lightweight cutting board. Freeze overnight, and you've got some cute larger flavored cubes the next day. I put three of the trays into an insulated lunch box and took these to work for my punch which consisted of 1 liter Grape soda and 1 liter lemon-lime soda. I placed x2 SLICED / FROZEN lemons and x2 limes, then pineapple cubes to float in the punch. The punch was a success and I had several compliments on my punch. I'd like to get some popsicle sticks and make flavored popsicles for my granddaughters when they come to visit. You can also make flavored cubes for cocktails. Love these trays!
