Probably a bit expensive for what it is, but it is sturdy and is still cheaper than most other similar products here on Amazon. My build was 8' x 5' and still VERY sturdy!

Love it, took me about 8 hours total with painting and all. Put pegboard on it, custom made it 8x4, added a fluorescent light and two industrial power strips.

Ok - so Amazon royally screwed up the order here and sent the wrong thing. I took two pictures, showed that the item that was sent and the item ordered were two different things, tried to go through Amazon's exchange and return software system which of course is garbage. So I called up 2x4 Basics and these guys were absolutely AWESOME. corrected the order directly, sent the missing pieces direct to my house and the build quality of the bench is awesome! very excited for the finished product. You will notice the shelves are missing in the photo. That is the piece 2x4 just shipped to me. will send updated photos when I've finished assembling that as well.

Hands down, I do love my new work bench. I opted to not put in the middle shelf so I would have proper room to store and access my tubs and rolls of leather. My only issue, and may not be an issue for most, is that you cannot set the spacing between the tiers of 2x4s. As a taller guy, 6'2", the bench itself is a bit low, causing me to bend over a bit more than I want. I plan on adding feet to give it a bit mor height. It's also a bit difficult for me to sit at because the space between the upper and lower ridges is just shorter than what my legs require. Otherwise I absolutely love it. It's sturdy and I was able to build it despite my lack of carpentry skills. I fully recommend. (picture taken before extra shelves were installed)

I recently decided that I wanted to make my own workbench for my garage. I was looking around for interesting options and came across this product. I figured I would give it a go and boy am I impressed with how it turned out. Everything went together without a hitch. I will probably purchase another of these when I am ready to create the bench for the center of my shop.

Received a warped leg which really made me question the Integrity of this bench especially when I was going to put a big aquarium on it. A lot of the screw holes are still full of plastic. I had High Hopes but I'm not even going to attempt this , it's going back

Smart design. It used to be a super cheap way to build a desk, workbench, or workstation. However, with lumber prices through the roof these days - it's still a pretty costly endeavor. Hopefully prices will come back down to earth. But this product allows you some creativity in your design. I made my lower shelves less deep so I had leg room underneath. Takes some planning, but well worth it. Measure twice and cut once is the rule!

I bought this in order to create a new work bench in a tight fitting space in my basement. Construction was tricky given the tight confines, but the final product, made with standard 2x4 and sanded plywood, looks great. I found my pocket hole jig to be invaluable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SGQ53V7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Will build the shelves next and varnish the work top. But very pleased.

We had one of these benches at the company where I used to work and I was impressed by the simplicity and sturdiness of the design. When I needed a bench at our new house I bought one of their kits and I am extremely pleased with the results.
