I bought this to resize a couple of watch straps at home rather than paying to have them adjusted, and it did the job perfectly. The kit comes with everything you need to remove and refit watch links, and it's straightforward to use, even if you've never done it before. The link remover worked smoothly, and the spare pins and additional tools are a nice bonus to have. The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. It feels sturdy enough for occasional use, and it saved me both time and money compared to taking my watches to a jeweller. If you have multiple watches or like to change straps yourself, this is definitely worth having in your toolbox. Overall, it's excellent value for money and does exactly what it's designed to do.

I wanted to resize my watchstrap and when I took it to the jewellers last time they quoted £8 for this. That was 5yrs ago. I figured it would be more now so I found this kit at just shy of £10. Bought it and found it extremely eaasy to use. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to use this make and it is incredibly easy. NOTE to all Christopher Ward watch wearers. Whilst most bracelets have arrows on the inside of the links to show which way to push the pins out, Christopher Ward does not. PANIC!! whichway should I do this? I don't want to damage the pins. Christopher Ward has this covered. You can push the pins out from either side. There are two ways to push the pins out. One with the screw driven pin pusher and the other with the hammer and pin tool. Both are very easy to use indeed. The size of this tool kit is small enough to not be obtrusive but big enough to use with ease. All this for a tenner? How much would you pay for a link taking out at a jewellers? It is definitely worth the price. All in all a definite purchase for all watch lovers.

Bought so that my partner could have a go at repairing a 25 year old watch where links had come loose For the price this was a good set, easy to use but as it was only lightweight it did take quite a lot of time to do the job. Saved a fortune on taking it to a shop...you need patience though and a steady hand as parts are small!

The tool is not perfect, i bent the vice pin on first use but it comes with plenty of spares and the watch positioning is so adjustable that if you do bend it it's your fault, and it stops you damaging the bracelet anyway. For the price it's excellent, I took two links out of my Longines bracelet without any problems.

I was a bit worried it might be rubbish because it is so cheap but it works really well and comes with a ton of different spring bars and pin pushers. Really happy and it has helped me resize 3 of my watch bracelets already.

The main tool snapped on first use, mainly my own fault as the strap wasn't lined up properly due to the adjustable hight plate not going high enough, if you're not a heavy handed buffoon like myself and take a little more care it may last longer, luckily there is a good selection of other tools and a wee mallet to complete the job i almost cocked up.
