Is this waterproof...want to mount in storage area under boat seat

I don’t know if it’s water proof I put it under Civic cars seat and it sounds amazing for the size burin a boat I would install it were it doesn’t get wet almost anything in a boat water proof or not will get damaged sooner or later! I owned boats all my life and I would not put it unless water and salt don’t come near it

Is this better thwn the other Rockville 10" slim sub that has blue on the box?

I never ran the blue box version but this one does hit well. I didn't have high expectations being a powered sub with small dimensions but it surprised me. I would buy it again.

Dose it come with wiring kit
