KingSpec SSD 256GB, M.2 NVMe Gen3x4 SSD 2280 - Up to 2400MB/s, Internal Solid State Drive with 3D NAND Flash, Compatible with Desktop and Laptop

I tried it in one of my mini-PCs, and external NVME USB enclosure. Both works great and was a breeze to get installed and working. I can easily recommend this drive to anyone. If anything changes, I will update my review.

I bought this drive to fill out the final pieces I needed to completed a "leftover parts" PC Build. I had the RAM, a 10th Gen i7, a case, PSU, and RX580 GPU. I wanted to finish the PC to give it to a friend in need of a decent computer for mostly home use (not a gamer). I ordered in a used motherboard cheap and this NVME drive as the motherboard only supports Gen 3. I had heard of KingSpec from videos by YouTubers for cheap builds and figured I would give it a try. In this relatively mild system, the drive is a great fit based on it's specs. I have verified the rated transfer rates were reasonably close with testing during the burn in phase. I ran the PC for two weeks for testing as I live in Alaska and they live in FL (needs to be reliable). During that time, I didn't see any temperature spikes and/or performance issues. Frankly, I was surprised that everything worked so well for mostly leftover or cheap parts. Other NVME drives in this size and gen (3) range have come down in price, it may be worth looking at those as well. However, at this point in time, I am happy with this purchase, and feel I received a reliable/well spec'd drive for what I paid. Thanks!

Excellent value for money. Replaced a smaller drive in an Macbook Air. Works well, and is faster than original drive.

I am pleased with the performance of this NVME M.2 drive.Much faster than my 2.5" SATA drive.Good price too....Photos represent both drives.The first 2 photos are from the new KingSpec NX Series 512GB Gen3x4 NVME M.2 SSD drive, and the third & fourth are tests on the drive that the KingSpec NX Series 512GB is replacing. (Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA Drive)The KingSpec NX Series 512GB Gen3x4 NVME M.2 SSD is over 6 times faster than my Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA Drive.I will update in 90 days.

Amazing cost great size. I’ve bought others I have a usb caddy it works great. It is a linear dollar/tb cost so if you are putting these on board you may want a bigger drive but if you want very tiny external drives these are perfect!

Parfait nickel, rien que telle un NVMe pour installer windows et des applis, j'avais déjà un SSD samsung Pro qui à fait sont temps (fonctionne toujours mais) mais quelle différence entre un SSD et un NVMe, facilté d'insertion et petite visse fournie avec, et quelle diférence pour ré-installé Windows dessus, cela ma pris très peut de temps, une merveille, de plus 256 Go cela me suffit amplement car j'ai un HDD de 2 To pour le reste, oui acheté plus de Go c'est bien mais pourquoi payer plus que cela suffit, ne connaissant pas cette marque je trouve cela très abordable, mais je pense que KingSpec c'est du Kingston! n'hésité pas à passer au NVMe dès que vous le pouvez, vous n'aller pas le regreté

Bought this as a, "Lets just test something" and am happy with it! 2tb of NVME for this price is killer! Plugged into my gf's laptop, a Dell G7 7700 and it works great!
