YUSUD Lighter Gasket Seal Compatible with Zippo, Metal Repair Kit

Definitely helps keep the lighter from leaking and makes it more reliable by keeping fluid from leaking and evaporating. Nice to have a the rubber gasket to keep fluid from leaking, plus the solid metal of it adds weight to the lighter and makes it feel more solid. Definitely a great upgrade that keeps the fuel level from dropping as quickly yet doesn't make it any harder to refill. Amd it having the compartment for a spare flint is nice. Only downside is that you have to be careful not to lose the little o-ring when changing the flint. Definitely a great upgrade for the classic wind proof zippo design.

This thing is great. I had low fuel in my lighter before I installed it and just waited a few minutes once I did, assuming it'll be forced up the wick if there's no evap. I must have been right, went from needing to spark it a few times to firing right up. The instructions are actually pretty clear and concise, pointing out details like making sure to put the right hole of the included pad where, which is useful since they look about the same size. Has an extra of each of its 3 seals. Careful filling it after, the cotton will likely be a little compressed, but this upgrade really helps. Just be careful not to lose your spare flint if you put one in there, it just rests in the bit, doesn't clip in. It also feels like it added some structural integrity to my Zippo. Not sure about its claim in the instructions to fit slim models. Highly recommended.

I purchased the YUSUD Lighter Gasket Seal for my Zippo, and it has been an absolute game-changer. A little pricey for what it is, but definitely makes a noticeable difference. Flame is larger and oil lasts longer, by how much it’s hard for me to say personally (I don’t use my Zippos regularly as I don’t smoke) but I’ve set my lighter down with this device installed and picked it back up a couple weeks later to find it still lit a tall flame.

Really does slow evaporation. Every Zippo deserves one of these. Messes with the manufacturer's business model of selling overpriced VM&P naptha to you in a 4 oz bottle that leaks away from the lighter like grass thru a goose.

Whether I use these or not, I still get about two weeks out of a fill. But, what the heck, they look good and seem to be high quality and craftsmanship so I kept them

It fits perfect in my Zippo lighter and in the Zippo lighter case. The biggest selling point and reason to get it is for the amount it reduces the lighter fluid evaporation. I have seen a significant reduction in the amount of lighter fluid that evaporates on the lighter that has this installed! To make sure it wasn't just me, I put the same amount of fluid in two lighters (one with this and just a stock one) and the one that had this installed still had fluid when the stock lighter had all of it evaporated! Another really nice feature of this product is the space it gives for a spare flint. I put a spare flint in there and forgot about it and I am glad I did. It came in handy when I was away from home and I needed to replace my flint. I highly recommend this product.

Not sure why Zippo hasn;t started incorporating this feature into their lighters straight from the factory! Great insert! The fit, finish and quality are awesome. Very simple, easy installation in seconds. No issues at all. Pack included spare gaskets, as well. Shipping was super quick as well. I’m hoping this will help my lighter fluid last a bit longer. It already makes filling the lighter easier and less messy with the small trap door on the bottom. Awesome little addition to make a fantastic lighter even better!!

Ok to all the people on here saying this product doesn’t work must have not installed it right because i own 3 zippos and all 3 have this kit and it works great i filled my one zippo with the stock seal and one with this kit and im going On 5 days now without refilling the other zippo with the stock seal only lasted 3 days so it dose work and it works well ill be putting them in all my zippos in the future
