Lost all my data!
After I loaded all my data onto this drive it stopped working. I got about 6 months out of the device then all my data was gone. I don't recommend this device.

Fast and Silent
I own three of these. They all take their power from the firewire 800 port (daisy-chained) on my MacBook Pro (Aluminum). Fast, silent, very compact.
