Good quality, a bit longer than necessary
Good quality, a bit longer than necessary. The longer length did allow me to re-enforce heavy weight areas, so I look at that as a plus. Love that it was an inexpensive way to renew my chair without having to purchase a new one.

Really great idea!
The lacing in our gravity chairs was deteriorating. I was surprised I could buy laces for them. They are a nice quality and have iglets on the end for easy lacing. I love my chairs and this was a nice solution instead of buying new ones.

Great product, just wish it came with instructions.
The product came with the four cords it talked about in the description. What it did not come with is instruction on how best to change the cords out without messing up the other side of the chair.

Inferior cording-DO NOT BUY!!
I bought this cording summer 2018, and fixed both of my zero gravity chairs. They were a little too long, but I dealt with it and made it work. I was so proud of myself for doing this. I had these chairs for about 5 years and the elastic was breaking. Had the redone chairs outside for about 3 months and put them away for the winter. I just pulled them out of storage and all of the elastic has frayed and the outside covering has completely deteriorated! What the heck?? This is total crap, and am very upset that the cords didn’t even last for a few months!

Easy repair.
An easy repair. Pay attention to the pattern when restringing your chair. If you end up with too much or not enough string when your done, chances are you did not follow the correct pattern. If you do it right, the strings are exactly the right length.

Great replacement cords.. pay attention how the old ones are strung
Pay attention to how you take the old cords out. I had to add a few extra loops to be able to use all the cord and keep proper tension. I only get a few seasons out of them before I have to replace. My chairs are outside 7-8 months out of the year. Well worth the investment considering the cost of the chair.

Did the job, but only very temporary
Awesome way to fix perfectly good chairs. Much less expensive than replacing them! Took some time, but re-threading the chairs we had was worth it and so much cheaper!UPDATE: see the photo. After only 1 year, they are falling apart. And we put our chairs out only from May-September; they are in a shred for the winter. Ugh.

The cord seems to be very well made. Time ...
The cord seems to be very well made. Time will tell. Their is enough cord to nearly double each run on the chairs. The 1/4' cord is heavy duty. We store our chairs out of the direct sun light which will also make the cord last longer.
