This is the 2nd window shade of this style i have purchased. The first one lasted approx. 2.5 years. one of the "strings" broke. I also replaced the suction cups 1/2 way though. This one is designed a bit different. Every contact point has 2 suctions cups instead of 1. I have been using it for several months and have had no issues. suction holds well, retraction is smooth, coverage is great, storage is quick and easy. I would recommend.

Difficult to unfold and attach to other side of window

This product is a great idea, and I love the folding accordion style. When purchasing this product, it asked specifically to make a model of my car and as you can see, not just the rearview mirror, but there is a console with electronics on the windshield. This does not fit, and when I was trying to tuck it to make it fit, it just cracked and bent, and then the accordion did not work. You can’t cut a flap out to get it around because there’s a string there and once the string is cut, the accordion portion does not work anymore. It is a wonderful idea, but needs a flap or cut out at prior to selling so that you can get it around at least the mirror

For Florida sun is perfect, protect my dashboard and keep my car in a more tolerable heat every time . thank you .

Easy to install and you don't have some big bully thing laying around in your car you have to pull out every time you get out of the car.

Easy to set up

There are this sticky pads on each side to use to take it off or close it. It takes way too much force and effort to take it down or close it. Also doesn’t work when the windshield is hot. Big disappointment.
