I use my Dyson V8 Stick Vac all the time. So I have purchased different roller heads to handle my different flooring. This new extension stick allows me to have two different roller heads mounted to different colored tubes. I can easily identify the tube with the correct attachment head and easily change the tube on the vacuum. This aluminum extension is lightweight, colorful (and matches the purple of my Dyson perfectly), and easy to attach and detach from my vacuum. The roller heads I have are a bit stiff and difficult to remove, so now I don't have to. I just swap the tube and roller head in one easy motion and I'm good to go. This was a really great purchase for me.

Recently, the original extension wand for my Dyson V10 broke, and I was searching for a reasonably priced alternative on Amazon. This product appears and functions identically to the original one, except for its length. This wand is slightly longer than the original one, which is not usually a problem. When I connected it to my Dyson V10, it worked perfectly without any issues. The weight and feel of the product are very similar to the original part.However, there is one minor issue with the different length. If you have a charger installed on the wall based on the length of the original wand, the vacuum will now stick out a little due to the increased length of this product. It will still charge the vacuum correctly, but it is something to keep in mind.Overall, this is a good alternative replacement for the original wand. If you can overlook the issue with the increased length, then this is an ideal product that costs much less than the original one.

Good replacement! Fits my dyson v8

This fits my Dyson V10 perfectly and is just a slightly different purple than its original tube. The two tubes lock together and then I can vacuum my ceiling fans! I should have realized this possibility years ago. I highly recommend. I haven’t gotten around it to it yet, but the extra long extension formed by two tubes together can also reach ceiling corners for cobwebbing and dusting purposes, as well as all baseboards. I’m very short, so it’s harder for me to clean high than it is to clean low. This is a great thing for the cleanliness of my home.

as good as oem

I was really impressed on opening this wand alternative replacement from a non-Dyson brand.It looks amazing in the orange color, the material is rigid and feels durable, there are no visible defects in the aluminum and the finish is awesome. I like the bright orange because it stands out so well.It fits perfectly into the Dyson Animal V10 and gives the same performance and suction.Overall a fantastic off-brand alternative that is a fraction of the cost of the original replacement!

Fits well, a little thinner metal on the tube compared to my original extension. Doesn't seem to affect suction power.One thing worth noting that since this is a rigid non adjustable length it does limit you with maneuverability.

I have a Dyson clone vacuum. This visually looks the same as the wand I have but for whatever reason it's quite a tight fit. Once I put it in, it was quite difficult to remove. But it does work if you happen to lose or damage your existing wand. I can't really fault this item since it's made for genuine Dyson and my clone may be the problem.

So great for really high ceilings and/or stairways.Using a broom was the only way to get up and sweep away those dark dust particles and cobwebs in tall corners and on crown moulding.This wonderful extension has now changed all that.Upon careful inspection, the materials used to make this extension is exact as if it was an OEM part from Dyson.The tubing is all aluminum and the connecting ends are hard ABS plastic with a gloss finish.This extension is grey in colour while our OEM is black. No big deal.The movement of the button to connect and release is as effortless and smooth as the OEM Dyson.Even while running I tried to wiggle the extension around to see if there was any play or power disconnect and there was none. Solid connection throughout our use.As by the pictures supplied, the extension is approx 1 1/2 inches longer than the black OEM Dyson.When both tubes attached together, it becomes approx 6 1/2 feet long with the floor/carpet head attached.That's a really good reach when using any Dyson dusting brush head.Highly recommended.
