Brix J-Popper, Ring-Pull and Pull Tab Can Opener

My hands and fingers are quite painful and lacking in some strength. This can opener is now indispensable. It is so easy to use and there is no discomfort in my hands when using. The best part is that the opener does everything ..it hooks the ring and you are able to remove the complete top of the can in one movement. My husband also uses it now -less hassle .highly recommended.

2/15/2023 ADDENDUM: I realized I had failed to include an important step before these others that certain hand-limited people might require: sometimes it's very, very hard to initially elevate the tab from flat on the can. This opener can do that, too. BUT after the tool pulls the tab up a little bit from flat you then need to pull the tab to perpendicular with your finger [not hard at all] as below, THEN re-apply the opener as below to finish the job. Sorry I didn't mention to some folks how to get the tab started. For me this process works for every can, no matter the size or shape. [PS Mine is still killing it! I love it!!!] :-)Shawn=========================3/1/2022 ADDENDUM: After writing this review I started having the same problem as many others–-tabs would come off making it VERY difficult to remove the lid. I got this solution from directions written on the lid of a Chef Boyardee Macaroni and Cheese, 15 Ounce can. The critical steps are: 1] First pull the tab by hand to a perpendicular upright position. 2] After that pull slowly & steadily the rest of the way with the tool. It's now working perfectly again. It's also helpful to make sure the tool is centered & not angled sideways.========================= Durable - much stronger than it looks.Works as advertised. Opens pull-tab cans easily with much less effort & discomfort.Unlike what what others have said it opens small cans like my Vienna sausage cans.It does take a little practice to figure out where & when to move my hand during opening to optimize leverage. Also helps to know to start with it slid under the tab as far as possible. An added bonus is it no longer sprays contents when the last attached spot snaps off [it no longer snaps]. I was dubious but am so, SO happy I made this purchase. I can't vouch for other brands but this one is great. [<– refers to the Brix]
