We bought a farmhouse table off of a neighborhood swap. It had been stained with a dark color that we thought would look nice in our space but it was too dark and didn't work with the chairs we owned already.Not having a ton of money to spend on new seating I came to Amazon for a solution and found these. I'm glad I did!I got 2 benches (sold separately) and a set of 2 chairs.This review is for the benches. I bought them separately so each came in its own box. Both were packed carefully, no damage, no missing pieces.The assembly instructions were clear, though it was so simple I doubt most people would need to read them. We got them assembled with the included allen wrenches in just a few minutes.They are sturdy and they look really nice with the table. The light color of the upholstery and the dark legs is the perfect contrast and the nailhead trim works well with the rustic style of a farmhouse table, but gives it a little flair.The nailhead trim isn't catching on clothing, everything is nice and smooth.The padding is firm - and this is the only time when the low price shows. I wouldn't call it ultra comfortable - like I wouldn't want to lounge on it to watch TV. But to sit up at a table and eat a meal and sit and talk for a bit: it's just right.

I inherited a large, hand carved dining table that had massive chairs to complete the set. My house isn't big enough for all that furniture, so I got rid of the chairs and went with benches. Although these are more modern looking than the table, I think they work great! The measurements were spot on. They were very easy to assemble and they're surprisingly comfortable! Much more cushion than I expected. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Bought two for RV dining area! After looking at hundreds of bench’s online these were the perfect size! Easy assembly and look beautiful! I may buy another! Price is great and quality is excellent!

The size of the bench is perfect at the piano. The height is good and the length is good for duets. The cushioning is ample and the fabric complements the carpeting in the room. The construction seems sturdy and reliable for years of service. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Mine came from Warehouse so I can't say for sure if this applies to all. First, the odor: It had a very strong musty odor which turned out to be the box and all the paper material like the instructions, etc. It was the eye-burning nose-dripping smell, I had to take it outside on the patio to finish opening the box and assembling it, and the odor still got to me. As soon as I saw it was the box I brought the bench in and it did not have any odor. The people who first bought it must not have liked the smell becasue they threw all the parts in the box and sent it right back, missing a couple washers. So if that happens to you, just take it all outside and see if it is better out of the box. Secondly, the squish: When I push down on the bench upholstery, it has a weird squishing feeling, slightly crunching. Unlike traditional foam but more like pushing down on a bag packed fully tight with those really tiny micro Styrofoam beads. Each area of the padding did that, but after the initial push that sensation got lesser and lesser. On assembling, it was easy but one leg didn't go into the slot I chose - I had to use a different slot for that leg, all the rest were smooth. I am actually pleased with the bench now, having got past those things that were initially off putting. So I took off a star - some people may not be able to get past things like that.

They look exactly as the picture and super easy to put together. I have two toddler and I am impressed how sturdy they are. Worth every penny!

You do have to screw in the legs, easy peasy. Very comfortable bench. We use it for extra seating at the dining room table on occasion, or a place to sit and put on or off your shoes by the door.
