EMP/Stewart Components 23103 Stage 2 Chevy Small Block Short Water Pump

This is obviously a quality part and it bolted right up to my 70 Corvette 350... There's a lot of "wives tales" about Corvette water pumps, but this fit perfectly, without requiring shims for the fan. However, the pully did rub on the housing, so it required the pulley to be shaved on the back... just barely. Also, the stock bolts will NOT work, because the mounts are thicker, so get your NEW BOLTS in advance, or prepare to be pissed. Also, since the pads are thicker, this COULD push your alternator mounts out of spec (if they run to the water pump), so be aware. For me, it did not.
