Very useful carrier for us. We've purchased two!
We have a tall, athletic, 14-pound monster tomcat and two 3-month-old kittens. We first got one of these carriers for our tom because of how stressed out he seemed in his old rectangular mesh carrier.Following our first purchase, trips to the vet got a lot less stressful for our big boy. The large, zippered openings make it easier to get him into the carrier, and the front extension gives him enough space to turn around and get comfortable. I think the ample headspace in the carrier and the fact he can see so much through the transparent hard shell has made him feel less enclosed. Overall, he cries less in this carrier and genuinely seems to enjoy looking through the shell at times.A couple months later, we adopted two kittens out of the blue. The carrier was also great for them, and not just for vet trips! They also love sleeping in it, playing in it, and jumping on it. When it was time to get them spayed, we bought a second carrier just like it to separate them and encourage rest while healing. With both front and back extensions open, they have so much room to get comfortable and rest, and they can still engage with the world around them through the transparent shell. Our first carrier has taken quite a beating from the kittens, but all of the mesh is still intact, and it would look like new apart from some claw marks on the base fabric and shell. These carriers have been super useful for us, and I'm so glad we tried them out.

Works well for small dogs too
I'm using this for Cocoa, my 4 lbs. Toy Australian Shepherd. Most of the reviews I saw were of cats, so I thought I'd give a dog's perspective. I use this backpack everyday to tote Cocoa to and from work, and so far it has held up well. Great things about it:-The clear plastic in the front -Cocoa likes to paw at the front of the bag when she wants attention. With other bags that have mesh on the front, she eventually wears a hole in the mesh. I'm thinking this one will hold up for a longer period of time. Plus she can see so much better out of it! That makes her more comfortable when riding in the vehicle.-She can get in and out of the bag through the side with it expanded, and often goes in the bag throughout the day to sleep. So she definitely feels safe and at home in this bag.-The backpack straps are comfy, and there isn't a lot of depth/bulkiness to the bag when it's on your back. Cocoa is thin and fits just perfectly. But if you have a wider/bigger breed, they may be uncomfortable.Things I'm not as excited about:-Only one small side pocket - in her previous bag I could put a water bottle on one side and her food/leash on the other side pocket - this one I can just hold a small baggie of food.-When expanded, the mesh seems a little flimsy so I worry about her being able to tear it easily with her paws. Since I keep the side "door" open and she can go in/out at will, that hasn't been an issue. But if you're using it for containment, it seems a dog or cat could rip through the mesh pretty easily if they don't like to be locked up.- The side door is super small - Cocoa has to bend down and it took a few tries for her to figure out getting in and out. If you have a bigger cat or dog, they may have trouble squeezing through on their own.

Great Comfort and Quality!!
The media could not be loaded. So I purchased this particular bubble backpack for several reasons. First reason is I wanted my 10 month old kitten (Tempest) to be able to see all around him. Instead of just a little window. Second reason is that the back of the backpack expands out for more room. I wanted to wait until I was able to really test it out before leaving a review. The color of the backpack matches my boy's harness and leash (as I am trying to keep stuff color coordinated) and is a beautiful color. It very closely matches the pictures. The price is amazing for the sturdiness and durability of it as well....When it first arrived my kitten immediately came up to it and crawled into it. Everytime I take it out he runs up and goes into it. The first week or two I only walked around the house with him as he is young and doesn't know what it is. That and the fact it is currently winter and was an average of -15°. Well today Tempest got his first real trip in it!! I went for a walk to a near by lake and had him in his little vest and leash. He cried for most of the way there, but my younger sister walked behind to comfort him. The video I attached shows how comforting he finds his backpack to be as well as how comfortable he is inside it. He stayed quite warm in it as well. He even napped in it on our way back! When we did get back he kept following me around and looking for it as he wanted to go back out.All in all the comfort of wearing it myself (with the little stinker moving around) was very pleasant. The back of the carrier is cushioned so it feels better for it moving around. The straps are thick and padded as well and has a chest buckle (another reason why I purchased this one), which I find very helpful and supportive. The backpack withstood a lot of snow and the held up great with my kitten inside for the hour walk. I definitely reccomend this if you are looking for something to take your little one out in!!!UPDATE!I was able to take my baby out all summer long last year! He loves his backpack. He feels very uncomfortable and unsafe with strangers around. This backpack is his safe spot. Whenever we run into people on the trail I simply have to set the backpack down with the small side door open and crawls right into it. He fits very well and as you can see in our mountain hike it unfolds to allow space to lay fully out. Ample room and clear view for him. He stayed in the backpack on our kayaking trip until we reached halfway across the lake (away from beach partiers). I was able to easily secure it to the kayak as well.Still highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their cat out with them.

Perfect carrier
I absolutely loved that it opens up so well to give my cat some extra room when waiting at the airport or vet. He loves it compared to other cages or normal carriers because he can see what’s happening. It is very sturdy, well ventilated, it’s comfortable and easy to adjust the strap lengths to fit you and kitty.

Good product but think about twice before buying :)
Hello! This is a long one...I bought this because I thought it was stylish and very convenient to use. It was to get my cat used to the outside world, before walking with her on the ground, since she's an indoor cat.At first, I loved it! (Well, I still do but is now used only to chill as you can see in the pictures).I got it in a perfect state and I find that the material is sturdy. My cat is 1 year old and weights 8 pounds. At first, she didn't like it at all. It depends on your cat. I was putting her a harnest that I was attaching in the bag (there's a clip to do so).Since I live in an area that we only have 2 months and a half of summer (+,- 30 degrees ish outside). Yes, it is a bit warm inside the bag... even if there's holes and that you can open the sides (little pockets that aren't pockets). It's more than normal that it gets warm... it's a plastic bubble a bit like glass it captures the sun and the warmth stay stuck inside. I would only go when the weather is fresh, sunny but fresh and cool. Morning or late evening weather was good for my cat and me. I wasn't scared fro her to overheat because I'd go in a decent weather.I'm studying cat behavior in a specialized school and I learnt that a cat usually likes to have space in a carrier. When I say space, I mean enough space to move, stand up, turn around, etc... My 8 pounds cat would take almost the whole space. She's not fat at all, she's average weight for a young adult cat. The bag is a bit tight but it can be very good for kittens or smaller cats. Some cats, regardless of their weight, can be very confortable in a tight space.Knowing that and the fact that it gets hot... I decided to keep it and now she likes it to chill in it inside. My cat use it but not for the purpose it was made for ahahahhahahah!🐾😺Overall I like this product, not design for big cats or warm/hot weather.

A FUIR ABSOLUMENT
Produit inutilisable.

Works great
Works well. Lots of space for my cat, but shes only 3kg (small cat). Right out of the packaging it had a really bad smell. We had to clean it down and air it for weeks before we could put our cat in it. I will be upgrading it at some point though, Id prefer one with a bit more space and style.
