They seem to be made of good quality chrome finish. I use them quite a bit when baking and frying and even put them into the oven when roasting chicken or other meats where I don't want it sitting on the surface of the pan. The large rack may hold 6 cookies, at best. I didn't pay much attention to the measurements, and that was my fault, but I expected full-size wire racks.

I like the grid style of cooling rack because my cookies are less likely to fall apart on them. The smaller size of these means they are good for both cooling and cooking, like as a roasting rack. One of these fit my roasting pan very nicely. They are solid and durable. However, there were a few places where the metal was sharp and snaggy, so I had to file those down to prevent scrapes or tears of clothing or pot holders. They are as easy to clean as any rack (which means they are relatively easy to clean, but if, like me, you strive to get every bit of food off, it can be time-consuming). They’ll get plenty of use in my kitchen.

For some reason, when the cooling racks (calling them cookie racks) arrived, I imagined they would be bigger than they were. I pulled out my current cookie racks and they were smaller than I thought they were! So I guess that just goes to show how observant I am. What I can say with certainty is that these new racks are a far better quality than my old ones. My old ones were flimsy and sometimes my chocolate chip cookies would cause the rack to dip a little. And one fell apart--the edge part that was soldered cracked. Obviously, I needed these new ones.The Zorestar stainless steel cooling racks are strong. The racks come in size small (7.5" X 10") and medium (9" X12"). They're rectangular and do fit in a big roaster or a baking dish if you want to cook something on a rack. Besides making chocolate chip cookies and getting them to cool perfectly supported (these have crisscrossed bars), I used the smaller one to cook meatloaf--elevating it so it didn't sit directly in the baking dish and cooked evenly. The racks are strong, easy to clean and I'm glad I ordered them!

Unfortunately, I trusted the company selling these “Large and small” cooling racks were actually selling large and small cooling racks. No dimensions were given, so naturally when they said large, I thought they meant it and were selling a normal sized large…you know, like big…One that would fit 2 -3 dozen cookies. Nope. They meant large as in “small toaster oven” vs “extra small toaster oven” (think sbux wording - “tall” is really small). With that phraseology in mind, the small toaster oven would actually be the large, and the extra small, the small. Same with these. The large would fit a small toaster oven, and the small would fit an extra small toaster oven. I actually think these are racks for toaster ovens, and not cooling racks at all. To add insult to injury, they were warped and bent. I recommend you pass these by…
