I bought this sign for our washer out of frustration in hopes to train my teenagers to leave the washer door open after using it to prevent mildew and odor. Who wants to "wash" their clothes in a rancid smelling washing machine? NOT ME. I can honestly say that this sign looks a MILLION times better than the black sharpie pen I used to write on a piece of torn-out, college ruled, binder paper that was duct taped to the front of our washer for a few months (we like to keep it classy here :P). The science experiment that would subsequently result from multiple days of forgetfulness would often leave the not so pleasant aroma of fresh, pungent, growing mildew tinged with the fragrant overtones of Sol de Janeiro and Ariana Grande perfume. Thankfully, this sign has been a much more visually appealing reminder for them compared to what we had previously. I took off one star because it is a bit smaller than I would like it to be. Here are my pros and cons:Pros:1. It has a fresh, bright look to it, and the writing is neat and clear. I also like the part where it states to "...leave the door open in order to prevent harmful bacteria".2. Arrived on time and was well packaged.Cons:1. As stated above, the size could be a lot bigger. It would be nice if they had options as far as that goes. At three and a half by five inches, it is best to have a darker background to make the sign stand out more and not be overlooked.2. The magnetic backing could be a lot stronger. My washer loves to dance while working, especially when the gangsta rap is playing, and the sign would fall off. However, with some strong double stick tape or something similar, this is an easy fix.3. Options for color variety would also be nice.Overall, a solid product. I would definitely purchase again, especially if they decide to increase the size.
