์ง์ง ! !
I love just about Korean anything. This is so soft, savory, and tasty. A great nutty earthy flavor... It does taste, well...like roasted barley. I love it. It's a great calming tea. No caffeinated garbage. I prefer what peoples have known for hundreds of years to be the best to put in my body! ์ง์ง!

So Glad I Tried it!
I have never had Roasted Barley Tea before. I was pleasantly surprised! It has a Full body robust flavor. I actually enjoyed it! I do have to say, it has an effect on your bowels! It is an aquired Unique flavor. I did not over steep it, so it was very smooth to drink. Im not drinking everyday, but I know that it works! I actually bought it for the effect on the bowels, I did research Barley Tea, so I knew what to expect. Ive had it Hot and Cold, both ways are good! Just be careful how much you drink! So glad I tried it! I personally will buy again!

Excellent tea to blend
Excellent when brewed with two regular Lipton tea bags. The nutty flavor the barley has blends well and makes a nice addition

Purchased as a non-alcoholic whiskey alternative.
A friend of mine, who happens to be a bit of a whiskey/bourbon fan, recently discovered she was pregnant. So, of course, that meant no partaking as she was accustomed to for a while. She wanted a non-alcoholic alternative just for the fun of still having her usual glass here and there, but also so she could still look like she was not avoiding alcohol in public while they decided how to announce to their friends. I set about trying to find something reasonable that would work. Most official non-alcoholic whiskey brands are absolutely garbage. Terrible fake flavoring that, not only doesn't taste like whiskey, actually taste terrible overall. After doing so extensive research into alternatives, I stumbled across barley tea. Now, of course, it still doesn't taste like whiskey, BUT it does have a rather pleasant taste (personally I get a slight woody taste, which is nice as it reminds one of whiskey, and a slight coffee taste) AND if brewed at a good strength, it does LOOK like a good whiskey. One could also easily make a reasonable virgin-old-fashioned with this as well, again, not exactly like the original, but honestly still pleasant to drink. There's no caffeine in it, so it's safe for pregnancy, and the fact that it is a pure barley tea means it's also pretty good for you in general. It's probably do a good job filling in for the original spirit for stage and independent film productions too. Here's the brewing method I used if you are interested in using it for the same purpose: 1 container of approx 1500ml water (will make roughly enough to fill two 750ml bottles) 8-10 tea bags (you may have to adjust to taste over time) leave sealed in fridge for 3-4 hours done you will need to store your bottles in the fridge after brewing as it can go bad at room temp

Delicious hot or cold!
Really good! I bring it to work to help me drink more water. I pour 20 oz hot water over 2 teabags in a stainless thermal bottle, add a little homemade spiced caramel syrup or horchata powder, and toss it into my work bag, while making my coffee. It's delicious hot or cold.

good but....
Taste and quality wise, this tea is pretty good (4.5 stars). I'm giving this 3 stars because the quantity is misleading. Usually I make a big batch, and with 5 bags from other brands I can make a really strong brew. These bags are pretty weak, so I end up doubling the amount of bags per batch. I thought I was getting a great deal for 100 bags, but really you have to use twice the amount unless you like your tea on the weaker side.
